After spending more time using Redact @RedactMoney and the shielded mode on Fhenix @fhenix, I started noticing a few areas that could make the experience even better as more users come in. One thing that stood out is what happens after a transaction takes longer than expected. Even though you see statuses like processing or decrypting, it would help if there was a clearer final state when something doesn’t go through, so users don’t have to guess whether to wait or retry. Another improvement could be around helping users understand what’s happening behind the scenes. The actions are simple to follow, but a bit more context in the UI, like short explanations of what encrypting or shielding actually means while you’re doing it, could make the experience more educational, especially for new users. There’s also room to make the flow feel more connected between Redact and shielded mode. Right now they work well, but tightening that connection would make it feel more like one unified system instead of two separate experiences. Lastly, small UX touches like remembering previous actions or simplifying repeated steps could make frequent testing feel faster and more natural over time. Overall, the progress so far is clear, especially with recent improvements in speed and reliability.
