I did not “make it” in Web3. I am still learning, still grinding and still sitting on around 2500$ loss. But this is my honest story from early 2024 to 2025 👇 From zero to my first airdrops When I started in 2024, I knew almost nothing. I just jumped into testnets, nodes,random forms and wrote everything in a small notebook. Most results were the same: “not eligible, no update, scam, low allocation.”Still, a few wins slowly came: Analog : my first real airdrop, around 430$ profit Story Protocol : around 400$ airdrop Open Campus : around 600$ from a simple node run GetGrass : node, around 50$ NodePlay : node, around 50$ (could be more but I held the token) Giza : simple test, around 80$ Nillion, Rivalz, Nyan Heroes, GameOn and others : 50$ to 300$ type profit MetalCore (gaming project) :around 50$ Chrip mobile app : around 20$ Chainbase : around 42$ Mango testnet – 50 tokens, I staked them because price was too low These numbers are not huge, but for someone who started with nothing, they felt very big to me. The other side: a long “Not eligible” list For every win in my notebook, there are many more lines with no reward. Here is my not eligible / no airdrop / no update list so far: gomble game, bubble games, xterio, OG Labs, intella, build on bitcoin, mande testnet, alienxchain, taikotrailblazers, wdym, param, axiom, elystestnet, mint blockchain, babylon, particle network, cvex testnet, natix, allo, hybrid testnet, allora testnet, fableborne, nubit node, maple story universe, dill testnet, mon protocol, sahara AI, anoma testnet, monad testnet, chainopera AI, naoris protocol, sentient AGI, talus testnet, DIN testnet, boundless, avalon labs, gaianet, singularity finance, humanity protocol, nerochain, hyperbolic (scam project), double zero, sonic SVM S2 and many more. Some had no TGE. Some changed rules. Some were low allocation. Some were my own mistakes with forms, timing or no funds to mint. Sometimes I did all the tasks and still got nothing. Sometimes I held tokens too long and watched profit go down. Sometimes the project died before token launch. This part of the story is not nice, but it is real. Still in loss, still in the game Even after all these wins, I am still in around 2,500 dollar loss right now. I will share the full loss story in my next post. But this Web3 journey has already taught me a few simple things: Small wins can come from simple actions like testnets and nodes. One good airdrop can pay for many failed attempts, but not all of them. Writing everything in a notebook keeps you honest with yourself. You can be in profit on some airdrops and still be in overall loss. I am not a Web3 success story yet.
