If centralized exchanges can suppress prices, then the logical response isn't just self-custody. It's also using decentralized infrastructure whenever possible. The BCH community has been doing monthly Bank Runs on the 1st and 15th for exactly this reason: 💚withdraw BCH from exchanges, move coins to self-custody, and reduce dependence on opaque custodians.
