Today, Midas AI added ALGO to its “First Take.” But I still didn’t enter the trade. The setup looked clear: → Algorand: native price broke resistance at $0.1034 → Long, 4x leverage → Conviction: 60% → Included catalyst, thesis, target, and invalidation level In other words, the AI gave me nearly a complete trade setup. But here’s the issue... Having a setup doesn’t mean you have to trade it. After 19 days using Midas, I’ve become increasingly clear on one thing: A thesis carefully constructed by AI is still just a thesis—not an answer. The first question I now ask isn’t: “Should I enter this trade?” But rather: “Do I truly agree with the reasoning behind this setup?” Sometimes I agree. Sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I simply... don’t have enough conviction. Markets change. Context changes. Even a strong thesis can be wrong. That’s why I now treat First Take more like a second opinion: To challenge it. To validate it. Or simply to reject an idea before putting money on the line. For me, AI is most valuable not when it decides for me—but when it forces me to think more deeply before deciding. This is my personal experience, not investment advice, nor a recommendation to buy, sell, trade, or use any platform.
