Q&A from KuCoin to Lumoz Token

Q: Could you introduce Lumoz and explain the concept of the "modular computing layer"?

Landon: Lumoz is the leading Modular Compute Layer & RaaS. Lumoz protocol can provide computing power and verification services for ZK and AI applications on chains with different architectures.

The modular computing layer is an advanced computational framework designed to provide scalable, decentralized, and efficient processing power for blockchain ecosystems. Unlike traditional monolithic blockchain designs, the modular computing layer separates key functions such as computation, storage, and consensus into independent components.

In the case of Lumoz, its modular computing layer is tailored to deliver high-performance zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) calculations and artificial intelligence (AI) support. By operating as a decentralized network of computing nodes, it ensures robust computational stability, cost efficiency, and compatibility with various blockchain architectures, including Ethereum, Solana, and Move-based chains. This structure not only enhances scalability and flexibility but also supports the growing demands of applications like zkRollups and AI-driven processes in Web3.

Q: Which projects do you see as direct competitors, and how does Lumoz differentiate itself from them?

Landon: Great Question! Projects like AltLayer and Dymension are also advancing modular blockchain and Layer-2 infrastructure, contributing to the broader development of scalable blockchain ecosystems. While Lumoz shares similar goals with these projects, it brings its own unique strengths to the table.

Lumoz stands out with its integrated focus on zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) and AI computing capabilities, enabling advanced cryptographic solutions that extend beyond standard rollup technologies. Its emphasis on multi-chain compatibility, supporting ecosystems such as Ethereum, Solana, and Move, further distinguishes it. Additionally, Lumoz has cultivated a robust ecosystem through partnerships with over 20+ Layer-2 chains, including notable projects like CARV, UXLink, and ZKFair, showcasing its ability to drive collaboration and innovation across various platforms.

By prioritizing decentralized ZKP computation and modular design, Lumoz is uniquely positioned to address the growing demands for scalability, security, and interoperability in the blockchain space. These strengths highlight Lumoz’s commitment to enhancing the modular blockchain ecosystem while complementing the efforts of other forward-thinking projects.

Q: What motivated the adoption of the dual-token system (esMOZ and MOZ)? Could you elaborate on the conversion ratio between esMOZ and MOZ, as well as the system's long-term development goals?

Landon: esMOZ is awarded as staking or participation rewards but cannot be immediately traded, requiring staking or vesting to convert into MOZ, which encourages long-term commitment and active participation. By separating tradable tokens (MOZ) from rewards (esMOZ), the system mitigates sell pressure, ensuring market stability while supporting sustainable token distribution. This approach aligns the incentives of all stakeholders, fostering a healthy ecosystem and driving the project’s long-term growth.

The conversion ratio between esMOZ and MOZ is 1:1, with different lock period, users who have OG NFT holders able to bypass the lock period for immediate conversion. Looking ahead, Lumoz Chain plan to be laucnhed on Q1 2025. It aims to integrate AI with blockchain by providing computational power for emerging technologies, while also introducing new rewards, staking opportunities, and utilities for tokens and NFTs. With strengthened industry partnerships and global scaling, Lumoz is poised to become a leader in blockchain scalability and innovation.

Q: Can you provide a detailed overview of the tokenomics behind MOZ?

Landon: The Lumoz token (MOZ) has a total supply of 10 billion tokens, with 66% allocated to the community, ecosystem, nodes, and miners, ensuring broad participation in the network. Key allocations include:

- 25% for zkProver Network (miners providing ZKP computing power)
- 25% for zkVerifier nodes (validators maintaining the network)
- 16% for early contributors
- 18% for early investors
- 10% for ecosystem growth, and 6% for community rewards.

The initial circulating supply is around 11%, with the remaining tokens gradually unlocked over 10 years, promoting long-term stability. Lumoz follows a dual-token model, where MOZ is used for utility and transactions, and esMOZ is used for staking and rewards. esMOZ can be redeemed for MOZ at a 1:1 ratio, with certain unlock periods. OG NFT holders can redeem esMOZ for MOZ instantly, providing an added incentive for early adopters. With no inflationary issuance, the total supply of MOZ will never increase, preserving its value and ensuring a sustainable ecosystem for the future.

Q: Are there any updates or developments you can share that haven’t been publicly announced yet?

Landon: Lumoz launched the zkVerifier network, Users now can Stake MOZ or esMOZ, run node, or delegate license to win $MOZ token. A key highlight is the allocation of 2.5 billion MOZ tokens as mining rewards for zkVerifier Nodes, offering substantial incentives for early participants. Currently, the staking pools boast an exceptionally high APR of over 3000%, providing lucrative returns for those staking esMOZ or delegating zkVerifier Licenses.

This launch marks a pivotal step in the Lumoz ecosystem, driving adoption of ZK Proof and AI technologies while rewarding users who actively contribute to the network's security and scalability. With rewards still at their peak, now is the ideal time to participate and maximize returns in the Lumoz ecosystem.

Q: What key milestones or goals does Lumoz aim to achieve in the coming year?

Landon: Next year, Lumoz aims to significantly expand its ecosystem partnerships by deepening collaborations with existing partners such as CARV, UXLink, Merlin Chain, and ZKFair, while also onboarding new strategic partners. This expansion will include supporting more Layer-2 projects and further growing its ecosystem, with a particular focus on key global markets like Japan, South Korea, and Europe. Lumoz will achieve this through targeted marketing campaigns, local partnerships, and additional exchange listings to increase its market presence.

On the technology front, Lumoz plans to continue innovating and optimizing its ZKP and AI computing capabilities to maintain its leadership in blockchain scalability and efficiency. The integration of zkVM and post-quantum cryptography will further enhance the security and privacy of the network, ensuring it stays ahead of emerging industry trends. Additionally, Lumoz will roll out new features and improvements to its Rollup-as-a-Service (RaaS) offerings, enabling developers to build decentralized applications (dApps) with greater ease and efficiency.

A key goal for Lumoz is to foster community growth and engagement. This will be achieved by offering more incentives, expanding staking opportunities, and growing the zkVerifier node network. Building a strong, decentralized community will be critical to Lumoz’s long-term success. Overall, Lumoz is focused on expanding its ecosystem, advancing technology, growing its user base, and delivering innovative solutions that empower the Web3 space.
