What is the KuCard Cashback Program?

The KuCard Cashback Program is a promotional reward program that allows eligible users to receive cashback on qualifying purchases made with their KuCard.
Cashback is granted in accordance with the applicable program rules and does not constitute interest, yield, or a financial return. KuCard and the Cashback Program are available exclusively to eligible users who are residents of New Zealand.

How much cashback can I earn?

The cashback rate depends on your VIP level and other eligibility criteria.
Cashback rates may vary by tier and promotion.
For example, a VIP 0 user may receive cashback at a rate of up to 1.7%, subject to applicable caps.
Current rates, caps, and eligible categories are displayed in the KuCoin app or on the KuCoin website.
Cashback rates are not guaranteed and may be adjusted or discontinued.

*The Cashback percentage is 1% for VIP 0 . For VIP 0 who hold KCS, the cashback rate will be 1.2%. If they hold KCS > 100, the cashback rate will be 1.7%.
* According to the KCS Loyalty Level Program, users can receive an additional up to 5.5% cashback by holding the quantity of KCS. From this perspective, users can receive up to 8.5% cashback ( up to 250 USDC ) per month!

How do I enroll in the Cashback Program?

  • No separate enrolment is required.
  • Existing KuCard users are automatically enrolled.
  • New users are enrolled automatically once their KuCard is activated.
  • Participation is subject to eligibility and the KuCard Terms and Conditions.

How do I earn cashback?

You may earn cashback by making qualifying purchases with your KuCard.
Eligible transactions may include:
  • Retail purchases (e.g. groceries, dining, fuel)
  • Online shopping transactions
The following transactions are not eligible for cashback:
  • ATM withdrawals
  • Balance transfers
  • Cash advances
  • Banking or financial services
Other excluded merchant categories as defined in the Terms and Conditions.
Additional notes:
Transactions settled in USDC are not eligible for cashback.
Cashback calculation and transaction recording are based on UTC time.
Eligibility is determined after transaction settlement.

Cashback redemption and valuation

Cashback may be debited to USDC or other supported crypto-assets with an equivalent value, calculated over a 30-day period, subject to program rules.
The value of cashback is determined based on the market value of the selected crypto-asset (e.g. BTC, ETH) at the time of debiting.
Important note
Crypto-asset prices are volatile. The fiat-equivalent value of cashback may fluctuate.
Examples (illustrative only)
VIP 0 users earn cashback with a monthly equivalent value of USDC 10. The cashback is debited in BTC based on the applicable conversion rate at the time of debiting.

How and when is cashback debited?

Cashback earned from transactions within a calendar month is debited on the 15th day of the following month.
Cashback is debited to your designated cashback account.
Transactions that are pending or unsettled are debited only after settlement.
You can track your cashback status and history via the KuCoin app or online portal.

Important information

Cashback programs are promotional in nature and may be modified, suspended, or terminated at any time.
Cashback has no guaranteed value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
All cashback is subject to applicable limits, exclusions, and verification checks.

Can I lose my cashback rewards?

Yes.
You may forfeit accrued or pending cashback rewards if:
  • Your KuCoin or KuCard account is closed or permanently deactivated; or
  • You do not meet, or breach, the applicable Cashback Program Terms and Conditions.
Cashback is a promotional benefit and not a guaranteed entitlement.

How can I track my cashback rewards?

You can track your cashback rewards via the KuCoin mobile app or the online portal.
Your cashback balance is updated after eligible transactions are processed and settled.
Pending transactions may appear separately and are debited only after settlement.
Please note that cashback is not always reflected in real time and may be subject to processing delays.

Can the cashback program terms change?

Yes.
KuCoin may amend, suspend, or terminate the Cashback Program and its terms at any time, subject to applicable laws.
Where required, users will be notified of material changes via email or in-app notifications. The most up-to-date and binding version of the terms is always available on the KuCoin website or app.

Can I combine the cashback program with other promotions?

In general, the Cashback Program may be combined with other promotional offers. However, certain promotions may:
  • Exclude cashback

Refunds and Customer Support

What happens if I return an item purchased with KuCard?

If a transaction is refunded, any cashback associated with that transaction will be adjusted accordingly.
  • Refund before cashback settlement: The related cashback will be voided. In the case of a partial refund, cashback will be adjusted proportionally.
  • Refund after cashback settlement: The cashback amount will be deducted from your cashback balance in the subsequent cashback cycle.
Such adjustments will be reflected in your cashback history.
