1. What is KuCoin Convert?
KuCoin Convert is a simple and easy-to-use tool that allows you to quickly convert/swap different assets. It is particularly suitable for beginners and users seeking fast transactions.
2. What are the advantages of Convert compared to spot trading?
Unlike traditional trading methods, Convert eliminates the need to understand the series of operations and complex rules associated with spot trading. It greatly simplifies the trading process, allowing you to directly swap between two assets with a single click. Through Convert, you can instantly buy/sell crypto assets or perform small conversions. The operation is simple and fast, with no handling fees charged.
3. Does Convert charge any fees?
KuCoin Convert charges no handling fee. Additionally, Convert locks a quote for you based on the current market price for a short period. However, due to significant market fluctuations, the conversion rate may include a spread. Apart from this, no other fees are charged.
4. What is the difference between "Market", "Limit", and "Staking" modes?
-
Market: You can quickly swap assets at the displayed price, which is the current market price.
-
Limit: You can swap assets at a specified limit price. Within the validity period, once the market price reaches your limit price, the swap will execute; otherwise, the order will be canceled. Please note that in Limit mode, order execution depends on the market price, market depth, and liquidity. Therefore, even if the market price reaches your limit price, your order might not be filled.
-
Staking: You can instantly convert ksETH into other assets at the current market price, bypassing the unstaking waiting period. ksETH is a staking voucher token issued by KuCoin, representing your staked ETH on the Ethereum mainnet and accumulated rewards. You can obtain this asset by staking ETH in the Earn module.
5. How is a Convert transaction settled?
Before the conversion, you can select the account(s) from which the asset to be paid will be deducted (Funding Account, Trading Account, or both). If both Trading and Funding Accounts are selected as fund sources, the system will prioritize using funds from the Trading Account. After a successful swap, the received assets will be immediately credited to your Trading Account.
