Further Information About the Rebranding of KuCoinPlay to WinPlay.App

Dear KUCOIN Users,

In September 2017, KUCOIN was established by a group of crypto believers, and since its inception, our goal is to always bring blockchain and crypto to the masses.

With this objective, we formed an excellent team with our partner in 2019 to bring KuCoinPlay to life, a platform combining gaming and crypto. Since its launch in August 2019, it has worked with a number of blockchain projects that are listed on KUCOIN, has introduced various activities, and has brought plenty of attention and users to the projects.

Meanwhile, we have been constantly thinking about the unleashed potential of the platform as well as how it could bring more value to the crypto world. A report by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) states that, although the total amount raised by blockchain projects continues to grow, almost 92 percent of blockchain projects failed eventually. When communicating with early-stage blockchain startups, we have also noticed that many teams have excellent ideas, technical background and product, but they are struggling with marketing and community building, and KUCOIN might be able to make a difference here.

Therefore, we reached a consensus with the KuCoinPlay team that KuCoinPlay should be rebranded as WinPlay.App and from now on the platform will be operated independently. With this change, WinPlay.App will be able to serve not only the projects listed on KUCOIN but all blockchain startups. KUCOIN will always support the long-term development of the WinPlay.App platform as well as the whole blockchain industry.

We firmly believe that blockchain will be the future and that WinPlay.App platform will contribute to the mass adoption of blockchain and crypto by bringing millions of new users into the field in the following years.
