Adjustment of Leverage, Maintenance Margin Rate and Risk Limit on KuCoin Futures Scheduled for September 30

Dear KuCoin Futures Users,
Due to large volatility in recent days, for risk control, KuCoin Futures is going to adjust the leverage, maintenance margin rate and risk limit for part of the contracts at 02:00 on September 30, 2021 (UTC). The details are as follows:
1. Adjustment of leverage and maintenance margin rate
Notes:
1. The adjustment will not affect the existing positions and orders.
2. Existing positions will be liquidated at the original maintenance margin rate.
3. Open orders will not be affected and will be liquidated at the original maintenance margin rate.
2. Adjustment of risk limit
Note:
1. The stop orders will be executed according to the new risk limit.
2. The risk limit of existing positions will also be adjusted according to the new one.
(If the value of your current positions and orders of the same side exceeds the new risk limit, then you're prohibited from adding positions)
3. To avoid losses, please pay attention to the positions and control the size before the adjustment.
