How to Swap Cryptos With 0 Fees Using the KuCoin Convert

With close to 100 tokens available at Convert, KuCoin aims to provide users access to the widest range of available altcoins. KuCoin’s trading interface offers a broad spectrum of powerful trading tools and order types designed for everyone, from beginners to professional traders. 

If you want to convert one coin to another quickly, you can save time and trading fees with the KuCoin Convert feature. KuCoin Convert allows users to instantly swap selected cryptocurrencies with zero fees, locked-in prices, and one-click trading. 

KuCoin Convert is a one-click service where you can exchange your cryptos with 0 fees. 

It was created to be a more convenient way to exchange cryptos for beginners and users that don’t require advanced trading settings and order types. 

While both KuCoin Convert and the KuCoin Spot trading interface have the same end goal (enabling users to exchange crypto), they cater to different types of investors. 

If you are looking to exchange crypto at the best market price quickly, with as low fees as possible, and aren’t looking to use advanced charting tools and order types — Convert is just the thing for you. 

On the other hand, if you are looking to use indicators and charts in order to find your best entry price, and want to use advanced order types — the KuCoin Spot interface might be your cup of tea.  

Another difference between the two is that Convert supports less than 100 different cryptocurrencies, while Spot offers support to close to 800, enabling you to trade smaller tokens. 

Step 1: Find and Select the KuCoin Convert Page

Navigate to the Home area of your KuCoin App. You’ll find the KuCoin Convert feature in the top bar. Slide the top panel to the left to reveal the Kucoin Convert icon.

Step 2: Select Your Payment Account

You can access its interface once you’ve selected the KuCoin Convert function. You can choose the cryptocurrency you’d like to convert from on the upper field, while the lower field indicates the cryptocurrency you’ll receive.

Select the account that holds the cryptocurrency you’d like to convert by selecting the Balance icon in the upper right of the Kucoin Convert interface. The Payment Account interface will allow you to choose the account from which the cryptocurrency you convert will be withdrawn.

Step 3. Choose Your Cryptos

Select the cryptocurrency icon to the right of the Pay field to select the cryptocurrency you’d like to convert from. Next, choose the crypto you want to convert to by changing the crypto in the Get input field. The coin selection tool includes a convenient search feature to select the cryptocurrency you want to convert quickly.

Enter the amount you’d like to convert, then select Confirm. By selecting Max, it’s possible to instantly enter the maximum possible amount of the cryptocurrency you’d like to convert.

Note: Converting cryptos by using KuCoin Convert is completely free. You will pay 0 in fees when performing any conversions. 

Step 4: Perform the Final Check

Review the order information presented by the confirmation dialog box. Once you’re satisfied with the order summary, select Confirm.

Your conversion is now complete! You can now click on the View Order button if you’d like to review your conversion order or head back to the KuCoin App interface.  

Step 1: Find and Select the KuCoin Convert Page

Select the Convert tool from the Kucoin web interface top menu under Trade.

Step 2: Choose Your Cryptos and select Your Payment Account

Once you’ve selected the KuCoin Convert function, you can access its web interface. You can choose the cryptocurrency and the amount you want to convert from here. You can also see your previous convert history and the current price of the cryptocurrencies you choose. 

Select the cryptocurrency you’d like to convert by selecting the coin icon or ticker to the right of the Pay field. 

You can also change the account you’ll withdraw funds from to convert by clicking the Available Balance button at the top right, beneath History.

Step 3: Set Your Parameters and Confirm the Conversion

Enter the amount of cryptocurrency you’d like to convert and click Confirm. Convert lets you instantly enter the maximum possible amount of the cryptocurrency you’d like to convert by clicking on Max. The Get field below the Pay field provides a live estimate of the amount of cryptocurrency you’ll receive.

Once you’re ready to complete your Convert trade, review the order summary, then select Confirm. Make sure to double-check all the amounts and conversion rates. Your conversion is now complete! You can now click on the View Order button if you’d like to review your conversion order or head back to the KuCoin interface.
