What is Alpha Trading？
Alpha trading refers to the buying and selling of crypto assets at the current market price. Alpha currently does not support any order types other than market order.
In Alpha trading, users have ownership of the crypto assets they purchase. For example, when you use USDT to purchase the token "quq" on Alpha, the "quq" will be credited to your Alpha account once the order is executed.
Alpha trading typically involves two main directions:
  • Buy: You use USDT to purchase another crypto asset.
  • Sell: You sell a crypto asset back to USDT.
 
What are Ondo Tokenized Securities? 
Tokenized securities are digital representations of traditional stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that reflect the price performance of their underlying assets on-chain. They are intended to provide exposure to the value of the underlying assets rather than direct ownership. Consequently, holders do not receive all shareholder rights, such as voting rights.
Ondo Tokenized Securities are provided by Ondo, a blockchain-based platform focused on tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs), such as securities and ETFs.

How to Swap Tokens on KuCoin Alpha?
Completing a trade on KuCoin Alpha is simple:
  1. Log in to your KuCoin account, or create a KuCoin account if you don’t have one yet.
  2. Before you complete a trade on kuCoin Alpha, make sure you have a sufficient balance of USDT in your Spot account.
  3. Select any Alpha token you want to trade in "Alpha Trading Zone".
  4. Fill in the amount of USDT and the quantity of Alpha token will be calculated automatically by system.
  5. Confirm your slippage by selecting the default slippage percentage or you may customize it. Check the order details carefully and confirm the trade.
Please note:
  • You need to update your KuCoin app to the latest version in order to access the Quick Buy function seamlessly.
  • When using the Buy feature, you can only purchase with USDT.
Differences from Spot Market
KuCoin Alpha assets are held in an independent Web 3 wallet (smart contract address), different from the wallet infrastructure as spot assets. Alpha assets are not supported for deposits or withdrawals, meaning that users shall not be able to withdraw such Alpha Assets to an external wallet or deposit to Alpha account, and will only be accessible through users' Alpha Account through users' KuCoin Account and can not be used with other KuCoin Services such as KuCoin Earn. Users are only allowed to buy and sell on KuCoin Alpha Zone.
Currently, Alpha supports tokens on one public chain: BSC. The minimum trading amount for Alpha tokens on BSC is 3 USDT.
