Announcement Regarding the Discontinuation of the "Hidden Order" Feature

To further optimize system performance, KuCoin will officially discontinue the "Hidden Order" feature on August 3, 2026 (UTC). Historical order records will be retained for 6 months following the discontinuation. Users are advised to export relevant data promptly if needed. 
 
Key Changes:

  • Web: Spot, Margin, Copy Trading, and Futures trading will no longer support Hidden Orders effective on August 3, 2026 (UTC). 

  • App: Support for Hidden Orders will be discontinued. 

    App v4.38 and above will have the "Hidden Order" option removed from the order panel. Please ensure your app is updated to the latest version and switch to standard order types such as Limit or Market orders.

    Users on versions prior to v4.38 may still see the entry point, but attempting to place a Hidden Order will trigger the error: "Hidden orders have been discontinued, please update your app or restart the app to refresh the interface."

  • API: Effective on August 3, 2026 (UTC), order placement endpoints will no longer accept the hidden, iceberg, or visibleSize parameters. Requests containing these parameters will be rejected with the error: Invalid order type, hidden and iceberg orders are not supported any more. API users relying on these parameters must audit their code in advance to prevent failed orders.

    • Note: Query-related endpoints remain unaffected.
