coinFAQ

What is GemVote?
GemVote is KuCoin's community voting process. Nominate or cast votes for projects you want to see. The top few projects of each round stand a chance to be listed on KuCoin.
How do I get more votes?
Earn votes by completing GemVote tasks, such as inviting new users, holding KCS, completing Identity Verification and KYC, and more.
How do I nominate a project?
To nominate a project, you first need to collect enough votes. Then, head to the GemVote page and submit the project's key details, including the project name, token ticker, contract address, and official website. Once approved, your nomination is confirmed. Remember, each project can only be nominated once. If your favorite project is already nominated, simply go to GemVote to cast your vote.
Is there a limit to the number of votes?
For successfully nominated projects, each person may cast a maximum of 100 votes.
Are winning projects guaranteed a listing on KuCoin?
Once voting ends, the listing team evaluates winning projects according to priority. Approved projects get listed promptly. For the listing schedule and more details, follow our official announcements.

coinAbout the Event

Nomination Rules:

1. Voting tickets grant you the right to nominate projects you support. Each project can only be nominated once. If your chosen project has already been successfully nominated by someone else, you may skip straight to voting for it.

2. The number of tickets consumed for each nomination can be found on the relevant nomination pages.

3. To nominate, you'll need to provide the project's name, token ticker, network chain, and contract address (42-44 digits). Example: KuCoin Token (KCS), ERC-20, 0xf34960d9d60be18cc1d5afc1a6f012a723a28811.

4. Currently, KuCoin only accepts nominations for projects on the following network chains: ETH (ERC-20), KCC (ERC-20), ARB (ERC-20), AVAX (ERC-20), MATIC (ERC-20), SOL (SPL), BSC (BEP-20), OP (ERC-20).

5. Please note, nominated projects cannot be involved in any illegal business operations or activities.

6. All nominated projects will be officially reviewed. Once a project passes review, it will move to the voting phase.

7. If the project you nominated doesn't win during the voting phase, tickets that you've spent during the nomination process will be refunded.

Voting Rules:

1. Voting tickets can be used to support one or multiple projects, with a minimum of 1 ticket per project. For the max voting limit, please check the specific voting pages.

2. Once cast, a vote cannot be withdrawn. Exercise caution when voting.

3. After the vote ends, the projects with the most votes win. In the event of a tie, all tied projects are considered winners. The winners will then be reviewed and listed once approved, with their listing details in followed announcements.

4. If the project you've voted for doesn't win the round, tickets that you've spent will be refunded proportionally.
