FAQ
What is Crypto Loan?
Crypto Loan allows you to use multiple assets as collateral to borrow other assets. Digital assets (such as BTC or ETH) can be pledged to borrow assets like USDT or USDC for trading or investment, while your collateral continues to earn Hold to Earn yield. KYC verification Complete Identity Verification (KYC) and enable the Crypto Loan feature. Collateral assets Supported assets can be used as collateral. While pledged, they continue earning Hold to Earn yield, which will be credited to your Funding Account. Fund flow Assets from your Funding Account can be used as collateral. Borrowed and returned assets are credited to your Funding Account.
How are borrowing interest rates calculated?
How interest works Interest rates change hourly, and interest is calculated and accrued on an hourly basis. Where to check rates Real-time rates and supported assets are available on the Crypto Loan page. Rate changes Rates may change based on market supply and demand. The platform reserves the right to adjust rates.
What is the LTV ratio and how is it calculated?
The LTV (loan-to-value) ratio shows how much you've borrowed compared to the value of your collateral. LTV Ratio = (Total Borrowed Asset Value ÷ Collateral Margin Value) × 100% Collateral Margin Value = Collateral Amount × Index Price × Tiered LTV Ratio To help manage risk, the system defines 3 key thresholds: Initial LTV The maximum LTV when opening a position (--). Warning LTV At this level (--), you'll receive a warning to add collateral or repay. Liquidation LTV At this level (--), your position will be liquidated automatically.
What is liquidation and how does it work?
Trigger condition Liquidation is triggered when your LTV reaches the liquidation threshold. Execution method The system sells part of your collateral and buys back the borrowed assets to repay the loan until your LTV returns to the warning level. Full liquidation Your position may be fully liquidated if its value is too low or if there is a risk of negative equity. Liquidation fee A fee will be charged based on the value of liquidated assets. See the asset-specific liquidation fee rate for details.
What are borrowing limits and collateral limits?
Borrowing limits - The maximum amount you can borrow for a specific asset, used to control risk exposure. - Max Borrowing Limit = Total Effective Collateral Value × Initial LTV. The total effective collateral value is the sum of each collateral asset's value within the platform's collateral limits. Collateral limits - Asset collateral limit: The maximum amount of a specific asset that you can pledge as collateral. - Platform collateral limit: The total amount of a specific asset the platform accepts as collateral. Any amount beyond this limit will not count toward your maximum borrowing limit, but will still be included in LTV and liquidation risk calculations.
How do I repay and redeem collateral?
Repayment On the loan page, select the asset and amount to repay, then confirm to complete repayment. You can repay using the borrowed asset or your collateral. Redemption If your LTV is sufficient, you can redeem part or all of your collateral. The redeemed assets will be credited to your Funding Account.
What are the key risks and how can I reduce them?
Market risk Digital asset price volatility may cause LTV to rise quickly, triggering risk warnings or liquidation. Liquidity risk In extreme market conditions, liquidation orders may experience significant slippage due to insufficient liquidity. Interest rate risk Floating interest rates may increase borrowing costs. How to reduce risk - Avoid excessive leverage by managing your borrowing size. - Monitor your LTV regularly, and add collateral or repay promptly when needed. - Understand and comply with the platform's borrowing and collateral limit rules.
