KuCoin Ranks in Top 3 for BTC and ETH Spot Market Depth in TokenInsight Report

KuCoin ranked among the top three exchanges for combined Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) spot market depth within the 0.01% price band, according to TokenInsight’s September 2026 Crypto Exchange Liquidity Report. The report also highlighted KuCoin’s low BTC spot slippage and tight ETH bid-ask spreads.
Top 3 in Near-Market Spot Depth
KuCoin recorded approximately $490,000 in combined BTC and ETH spot order book depth within the 0.01% price band, ranking third among eight surveyed exchanges.
This measure captures liquidity close to the mid-price, highlighting KuCoin’s capacity to support spot trading within a narrow price range.
Bitcoin Spot Slippage Among the Lowest Surveyed
For simulated $100,000 BTC spot sell orders, KuCoin recorded median slippage of just 0.002%, tied for the second-lowest result among surveyed exchanges.
Its performance remained competitive at larger order sizes. For $500,000 BTC spot sell orders, KuCoin’s median slippage was 0.013%, tied for the third-lowest result.
TokenInsight also identified KuCoin as one of the leading venues for BTC spot execution performance in its analysis.
Narrowest Reported Ether Spot Spread
KuCoin recorded the narrowest median ETH spot bid-ask spread among the eight surveyed exchanges at 0.040 basis points. The result placed KuCoin marginally ahead of a closely grouped field, reflecting competitive pricing at the top of its ETH spot order book.
Together, these findings highlight KuCoin’s strengths in near-market spot liquidity and median Bitcoin execution quality during the reporting period.

TokenInsight’s September 2026 Crypto Exchange Liquidity Report evaluates liquidity through order book depth, simulated sell-order slippage and bid-ask spreads. Data was collected from selected exchanges’ official APIs at 30-minute intervals between August 16 and September 14, 2026 (UTC+8).
