Scheduled Adjustment of Leverage, Maintenance Margin Rate, and Risk Limit Upgrade of KuCoin Futures on December 2

Dear KuCoin Futures Users,
To further prevent the market risks, protect the rights and benefits of users, and provide them with higher trading limits, KuCoin Futures will upgrade the risk limit level of all contracts in two batches. The upgrade will include the risk limit (the nominal value), maximum available leverage, initial margin rate, and the maintenance margin rate corresponding to each risk limit level of the contracts. The upgrade schedule is as follows:
First Batch at 08:00 on December 2, 2021 (UTC): Update the risk limit level of part of the USDT-Margined contracts, COIN-Margined contracts, and the Delivery contract.
Second Batch at 08:00 on December 8, 2021 (UTC): Update risk limit level of all the rest of the USDT-Margined contracts.
The first batch of upgrade includes:
1. USDT-Margined Contracts, including IOST Perpetual/USDT, GRT Perpetual/USDT, BTT Perpetual/USDT, XEM Perpetual/USDT, ATOM Perpetual/USDT, DASH Perpetual/USDT, OCEAN Perpetual/USDT, BAT Perpetual/USDT, CHZ Perpetual/USDT, CRV Perpetual/USDT, MANA Perpetual/USDT, QTUM Perpetual/USDT, DENT Perpetual/USDT, RVN Perpetual/USDT, SXP Perpetual/USDT, ALGO Perpetual/USDT, ENJ Perpetual/USDT, NEO Perpetual/USDT, DGB Perpetual/USDT, MKR Perpetual/USDT, ICP Perpetual/USDT, DYDX Perpetual/USDT, ONT Perpetual/USDT, COMP Perpetual/USDT, WAVES Perpetual/USDT, MIR Perpetual/USDT, SNX Perpetual/USDT, BAND Perpetual/USDT, HBAR Perpetual/USDT, and YGG Perpetual/USDT.

Notice:
1. Please refer to the updated Risk Limit Level to place an order. Please note that the current risk limit level is only supported on the Web. It will be updated on KuCoin App in December 2021.
2. The liquidation of the existing Futures positions of the above contracts are based on the current risk limit level. New positions opened after the scheduled upgrade will be executed based on the new risk limit level.
3. Users can adjust the risk limit level by themselves. To avoid liquidation, the system will automatically cancel all the open orders of users and replenish the margin to the account during the upgrade. By the time, the liquidation price will also change according to the changes in the maintenance margin rate.
