KuCoin Will Support the Token Swap and Rebranding of Open Custody Protocol (OPEN) to Levva Protocol Token (LVVA)
Dear KuCoin Users,
KuCoin will support the token swap and rebranding of Open Custody Protocol (OPEN) to Levva Protocol Token (LVVA). The OPEN to LVVA tokens swap will automatically be completed for OPEN holders on KuCoin.
The arrangements are as follows:
1. The deposit and withdrawal services for OPEN will be closed at 3:00 AM on March 6, 2025 (UTC);
2. KuCoin will close the trading service for the OPEN/USDT trading pair at 3:00 AM on March 6, 2025 (UTC). We recommend that you cancel your pending orders of OPEN as soon as possible.
3. To complete the swap, KuCoin will take snapshots of users’ OPEN assets at 10:00 AM on March 6, 2025 (UTC). After the snapshot, we will convert the old OPEN tokens to the new LVVA tokens at a ratio of 1:1 (1 old OPEN = 1 new LVVA);
4. Deposit and withdrawal services of LVVA tokens as well as the trading service for the LVVA/USDT trading pair will be opened after the swap is completed. We will notify users in a further announcement.
Please note:
1. The minimum holding for eligibility is 300 OPEN;
2. The snapshots will include OPEN balances in Spot accounts (Funding Account + Trading Account);
3. OPEN tokens that were in pending deposit or withdrawal at the time of the snapshots will not be counted towards your balance;
4. After the deposit, withdrawal, and trading services for OPEN are closed, the OPEN token will NO longer be supported on KuCoin. For users who deposit OPEN afterward, KuCoin will NOT be able to cover users’ losses.
