What Is Unified Account?

Unified Account is designed to help users manage assets and trading positions more efficiently across multiple products.

With Unified Account, eligible assets can be managed under a unified account framework, with shared margin and unified risk management helping improve capital efficiency and reduce the need to frequently transfer assets between different trading accounts.

Unified Account currently supports Spot and Futures trading, with additional products and services to be introduced progressively.

How to Activate Unified Account

Step 1: Open Trading Settings

Step 2: Go to Account Mode

Navigate to:

Settings > Trading Account Settings > Account Mode

Step 3: Activate Unified Account

Locate Unified Account and click:

Activate Account & Switch Mode

This will activate Unified Account and switch your main account to Unified Account mode.

If vou would like to keep vour main account in Classic Account mode and enable Unified Account for sub-accounts only, select Activate Account instead.

Step 4: Complete the Risk Assessment

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Unified Account risk assessment, read and agree to the Unified Account - Supplemental Agreement, and submit your answers.

Once the upgrade is completed successfully, you can start using Unified Account.

Important Notes Before Upgrading

Before upgrading, please make sure that your account meets the following requirements:

You have no open futures positions.
You have no pending spot or futures orders.
You have no outstanding liabilities or negative balances.

The upgrade process normally takes only a short time. However, trading and asset transfers may be temporarily unavailable while the account upgrade is being processed.

Terms & Conditions

Please note that users must enroll in the designated task in the KuCoin Rewards Hub before activating Unified Account. Only users who complete the steps in this order will be eligible to receive the reward.
This campaign is available only to eligible KuCoin VIP 1 and above users.
To qualify for the reward, users must activate Unified Account for the first time during the campaign period. Users who have activated Unified Account prior to the campaign are not eligible to receive the reward.
Each eligible user can receive up to 300 USDT in Trading Fee Deduction Coupons, consisting of a 150 USDT Spot Trading Fee Deduction Coupon and a 150 USDT Futures Trading Fee Deduction Coupon.
The applicable products, validity period, and usage rules of the Trading Fee Deduction Coupons are subject to the information displayed on the reward page after issuance.
KuCoin reserves the right to disqualify users and revoke rewards in cases of fraudulent activity, bulk account registration, reward abuse, or other violations.
KuCoin reserves the right to modify or interpret the campaign rules to the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
