KuCoin Pre-Market Update: Closure & Delivery Schedule for Linea (LINEA)

Custom ImageWe trust you've been relishing the Pre-Market Trading experience of Linea (LINEA) on KuCoin. As we approach the conclusion of the LINEA trading session, we would like to inform you about the upcoming schedule:

Important Time & Date:

  • LINEA Deposit is already open

  • Pre-Market Closure: 15:00 on September 10, 2025 (UTC)

  • Spot Trading Time: 15:00 on September 10, 2025 (UTC)

  • Settlement Opens: 15:00 on September 10, 2025 (UTC)

  • Settlement Closure: 19:00 on September 10, 2025 (UTC)

Failure to complete the delivery can result in the loss of collateral. All pending LINEA will be canceled after that, and funds will be returned to their original source.

Important Notes for Token Delivery:

  1. The token delivery is automatic and will be processed through balances of participant’s KuCoin Trading Account.

  2. Sellers must have required LINEA tokens in the KuCoin Trading Account before 19:00 UTC on September 10 2025 for delivery.

  3. Once the LINEA tokens are fully delivered, sellers will receive payment in the KuCoin Trading Account. Sellers who fail to complete the delivery by the time of settlement will result in the loss of collateral.

  4. Once a buy order is successfully filled on the Pre-Market, the trade is considered matched. Token delivery is subject to the seller’s settlement action within the permitted timeframe, and KuCoin does not guarantee immediate delivery. The timing and completion of settlement remain at the sole discretion of the seller within the allowed window.

  5. By participating in Pre-Market trading, the buyer acknowledges and accepts the risks associated with potential delays in delivery. KuCoin bears no responsibility or liability for any losses, including but not limited to price fluctuations, missed trading opportunities, or any financial impact arising from settlement timing or delayed token delivery.

  6. The system will continuously attempt to fulfill deliveries and thus the delivery time may extend. Please be patient if the delivery is not immediately processed. The delivered LINEA tokens or the USDT collateral paid by the seller in default will be credited to the buyer's trading account.

  7. There is a 5% fee imposed on the seller's collateral if the seller fails to deliver at settlement time. The remaining 95% will be compensated to the buyer.

Token Delivery Method:

>Deposit

  1. Deposit LINEA Tokens from external sources to ensure you have the accurate deposit address.

  2. Transfer the required LINEA tokens to your Spot Trading account before the designated delivery time.

>Purchase from Spot Market

  1. If you have yet to secure the required LINEA tokens, you can purchase the necessary amount in the Spot Market.

  2. After purchasing, transfer the LINEA tokens to your Spot Trading Account and await the scheduled delivery time.

Notes:

  1. LINEA Tokens purchased from the pre-market cannot be used for settlement.

  2. LINEA Tokens present in any other account (e.g., Funding account) will not be considered for delivery.
