KuCoin Launches GemVote: An Innovative Approach to Support Crypto Gem Listings
Dear KuCoin Users,
We are excited to introduce our brand new product - GemVote, where users can support their favorite projects and help them get listed on KuCoin.

How does KuCoin GemVote work?
Users who hold voting tickets are eligible to nominate projects they support. Users can use their voting tickets to vote for their favorite projects during the voting period. The project with the highest number of votes will stand the highest chance to be listed in the Spot Market once it passes KuCoin’s comprehensive review.
The process is as follows:
1. Collect Voting Tickets: To nominate a project, you first need to gather enough voting tickets. The specific number of votes required may vary and should be checked on the GemVote page.
2. Submit Details: Once you’ve gathered sufficient voting tickets, head to the GemVote page on the KuCoin platform. Here, you’ll need to submit the key details of the project you wish to nominate. These details typically include:
- Project Name
- Token Ticker
- Smart Contract Address
- Official Website
3. Initial Review: After submitting the project details, they will undergo an initial review process by KuCoin. During this stage, KuCoin ensures that the nominated project meets all of KuCoin’s necessary criteria and standards.
4. Confirmation: If your nomination passes the initial review, it will be confirmed, and your favorite project will officially be nominated for listing on KuCoin. (Please note that each project can only be nominated once.)
5. Casting Votes: If your favorite project has already been nominated for listing on KuCoin, you can simply visit the GemVote page to cast your vote in support of it.
6. Nomination Requirements: It is important to note that KuCoin currently only accepts project nominations for specific networks and token standards. These include: ETH-ERC20, KCC-ERC20, ARB-ERC20, AVAXC-ERC20, MATIC-ERC20, SOL-SPL, BSC-BEP20, and OP-ERC20.
To summarize, all nominated projects will undergo an official due diligence review by KuCoin. Upon approval, the project will progress to the voting stage and users can use their voting tickets to support one or multiple projects they like, with a minimum of 1 ticket per project. Please refer to the specific voting page for information on the maximum number of votes allowed.
How Can I Get Tickets?
You can earn votes by completing GemVote tasks which are shown on the GemVote landing page, such as inviting new users, holding KCS, completing your KYC verification, depositing and trading tokens, and more.
How Will the Selection of Winning Projects Be Determined?
The project with the highest number of votes will be the winner. The native token of the winning projects will be listed on the KuCoin Spot Market after a comprehensive review by the KuCoin team.
When multiple projects receive the same highest number of votes, all projects will be considered as the winning projects. Hence, KuCoin may support multiple tokens listed for each voting campaign session.
When will KuCoin List the Winning Projects?
KuCoin will conduct the final review of the winning projects, which may take approximately 7 working days to complete. Please stay tuned for the official listing announcement.
Notes:
- Sub-accounts are not supported to participate in the GemVote activity;
- All the projects must not involve illegal business or activity operations;
- KuCoin reserves the right at any time in its sole and absolute discretion to determine and/or amend or vary these Activity Terms without prior notice, including but not limited to canceling, extending, terminating, or suspending this Activity, its eligibility terms and criteria, the selection and number of winners, and the timing of any act to be done, and all users shall be bound by these amendments;
- In case of any discrepancy between the translated version and the English original version, the English version shall prevail.
- Please note that GemVote event does not support initial listing projects.
