Announcement Regarding KuCoin’s Periodic KYC Verification for Fiat Channels

Dear KuCoin Users,

To enhance compliance with "Know Your Customer" (KYC) principles, laws, and regulations, and to bolster user account security against illegal activities like money laundering and terrorist financing, KuCoin is updating our user periodic verification policy.

Users with expired KYC documents will need to contact the CS team for help and redo KYC with updated identity documents in order to keep using the KuCoin Fiat services. This upgrade will be officially implemented from 09:00 on September 6, 2023 (UTC).

Affected Fiat Channels:

1. Buy Crypto with Visa/Mastercard

2. Fiat deposit channels: Advcash, PIX&TED, SEPA, SEPA Instant, Treasura

3. Third-party channels: Simplex, Banxa, BTCdirect, CoinTR, LegendTrading

4. P2P market

Note:

1.During the upgrade period, the security of funds in your account will not be affected. However, to ensure the normal use of your account, please check your KYC documents and redo it with your latest documents as soon as possible.
