According to on-chain investigator ZachXBT, on June 11, the Tron address TA6YHq...zCoQ received 120.2 million USDT, followed by rapid multi-directional transfers: over $12 million was sent to KuCoin deposit addresses, approximately $8 million was transferred to multiple instant exchange platforms, and over $8 million was moved to Bitcoin and Ethereum networks via the Near Intents cross-chain bridge. Additionally, the address placed a large number of Monero (XMR) buy orders, causing XMR’s price to briefly surge from $330 to $420. Minutes ago, Tether blacklisted and froze 72 million USDT in the address TBzrPE...Ak9W directly associated with TA6YHq.

On June 11, Tether froze $72 million in USDT after on-chain analysis revealed suspicious activity on the Tron network. A large address received 120.2 million USDT and transferred over $12 million to KuCoin, $8 million to other exchanges, and $8 million to Bitcoin and Ethereum via Near Intents. Prior to Tether blacklisting the associated address, the same address had also manipulated XMR prices. The incident underscores the urgent need for a network upgrade to improve security and traceability.
