The KuCoin VIP Benefits and Fee Rate Upgrade Notice
Dear KuCoin Users,
In order to enhance the rights of VIP users, the KuCoin team will upgrade the VIP benefits program 15:00 (UTC + 8) on May 28, 2020.
Major adjustments in this upgrade include:
- Holding 40,000 KCS makes the maker fee free in the spot and contract markets.
- Adding maker rebates for membership levels 8 and above.
- The VIPs of other exchanges will become the VVIPs on KuCoin.
If the customers have VIP benefits on another exchange, these customers can apply to experience the VIP benefit +1 of the same trading volume level on KuCoin.
e.g.: Based on the trading fee rate of 0.1% maker and 0.1% taker.

- This upgrade is expected to take 3 hours, during which trading won’t be affected. Users will enjoy the new fee schedule after the upgrade is completed.
- The VIP benefits and fee rates page will be updated simultaneously at 15:00 (UTC + 8) on May 28, 2020.
