Important Notice to Users in Uzbekistan

Dear Valued Users,

Uzbekistan’s laws and regulations, as well as directives from the regulator, National Agency of Perspective Projects of Uzbekistan, are necessitating changes in our services for Uzbekistan users. Please review the following adjustments:

1. For Unregistered Users from Uzbekistan:

1.1. Users accessing KuCoin from Uzbekistan IP addresses, with phone numbers beginning with the Uzbekistan international code (+998), and/or providing Uzbekistan Identity Documents will no longer be able to register on our platform.

1.2. KYC services will no longer be available for users in Uzbekistan. Services are limited to countries and regions listed on our KYC page. Kindly consult our Terms of Use for further details.

2. For Existing Users from Uzbekistan:

2.1. Due to legal and regulatory requirements in Uzbekistan, services for users in Uzbekistan will be restricted.

2.2. Effective 18:00 (UTC+5) April 15, 2024, new trade orders (including spot and futures) cannot be placed, and no new services can be accessed. However, you may still close positions opened before 18:00 (UTC+5) April 15, 2024, and withdraw assets.

2.3. Effective 18:00 (UTC+5) June 15, 2024, all ongoing services will be terminated. This includes the forceful closure of all open positions and active orders initiated before April 15, 2024. Your account will then be set to "Withdrawal Only" status, allowing login solely for the purpose of claiming withdrawals.

2.4. Users from Uzbekistan must withdraw their assets before 18:00 (UTC+5) on June 15, 2024. If assets are not withdrawn by this time, for withdrawals anytime after 18:00 (UTC+5) on June 15, 2024, you will need to log in and contact our support team to initiate a manual asset claiming process.

3. For Non-Uzbekistan Users Previously Registered from Uzbekistan:

3.1. If you are from a region where our services are available, please access our platform from a supported location and complete KYC verification using acceptable non-Uzbekistan documents. Failure to do so will result in service restrictions for your account. Failure to update KYC information by April 15, 2024 will result in the restrictions detailed in paragraph 2.2 of this Notice, and further failure to update KYC information by June 15, 2024 will lead to the consequences detailed in paragraphs 2.3 and 2.4 of this Notice.

We are working on approaches to our operations in Uzbekistan and will notify you once our services become available for users in Uzbekistan.

Please also be cautious of suspicious links and any asset transfers that are not properly verified. Trust official communication channels only.
