What is KuCoin Crypto Friday

KuCoin Crypto Friday is an annual rewarding event launched by KuCoin to thank our users around the globe. This year, the event will be held between 00:00:00 on September 29, 2021 to 23:59:59 on October 10, 2021 (UTC). During this period, we will offer diversified and exciting games for you to join and get crypto prizes, including discount coupons to purchase your favorite cryptocurrencies and more surprising crypto prizes. It is a great chance for all to enter the crypto world with a lower entry threshold.

In this article, we’ll walk you through each game section, explain where to start and how to get more prize rewards and discount coupons to purchase crypto.

How to Participate in the KuCoin Crypto Friday

"KuCoin Crypto Friday" is divided into 3 main activities, namely ‘Collect Coins to Share 300,000 USDT Worth of Prizes’, ‘Enjoy Super Discounts in Crypto Purchase to Share 700,000 USDT Worth of Discounts’ and ‘Red Envelope Rain’.

1. Check-in for the event details and register to participate

Each day we will offer different activities for users to play with, such as collecting coin shards, merging coins to redeem prizes, and getting the flash sale of discount coupons to purchase crypto, etc.

Users can click any button on the activity page for their first entry to register on the “KuCoin Crypto Friday”, such as by clicking the check-in button on the calendar page when they first open the activity page. Details of the latest events can be found in the calendar, as shown below.

2. How to get shards

Users can get shards through four different ways, and they can check the number of cards they have obtained in the card pool.

a. Check-in to collect coin shards every day.

b. Complete tasks to collect coins. Users can click ‘Get More Shards’ in the shard pool to enter the task page and obtain various shards after completing the task requirements.

c. Users can also obtain shards by following KuCoin’s official Twitter. For more details, please follow us on Twitter.

d. You can also exchange or receive shards from your friends by sharing links via social media platforms.

3. How to redeem prizes with shards

There are three different ways to redeem crypto prizes with your shards, which are, merge coin with A+B+C+D; draw price with 5As or 5Bs or 5Cs or 5Ds; or exchange prize with 1A+1C or 1B+1D or 1A+1C+1D. Different combinations will bring various surprises. We will briefly explain each below.

a. Merge Coins to get a share of a 100,000 USDT prize pool

By collecting A, B, C, and D, the four shards can merge into one coin. Users with merged coins will share a 100,000 USDT prize pool in proportion to the number of their merged coins.

Notice：

· Each user can merge 100 coins at most.

· Users with merged coins can check the amount of their prize at 14:00:00 on October 9, 2021 (UTC).

b. Draw prizes with 5 identical shards

Users with 5 identical shards can get one chance of prize draw. Lucky draw prizes include BTC, ETH, LTC, KCS, VRA, discount coupons, airdrop bonus, Margin interest-free coupons, Futures deduction coupons, Futures bonus, and many more.

c. Exchange prizes with shard combinations

If you have the shard combination of 1A+1C, 1B+1D, or 1A+1C+1D, you can use them to exchange for 2 USDT, 5 USDT, or 10 USDT, respectively.

Notice:

· Prizes from the “lucky draw” and “shard combination” will be credited to the users' KuCoin account in 24 hours.

4. How to get discount coupons

In this activity, users have 2 choices to get a coupon - either from the flash sale or the prize draw.

a. Flash sale of discount coupons

Every day during 14:00:00 – 15:59:59 from October 4, 2021 – October 7, 2021 (UTC), there will be a flash sale of limited discount coupons where you can grab one for free on a first-come, first-served basis.

b. Prize draw of discount coupon with 5 identical shards

Users can also use 5 identical shards to get one draw. If you are lucky, you may get a discount coupon, including BTC, ETH, LTC, KCS, and VRA.

5. How to use discount coupons

Your discount coupons can be used during the designated time period to purchase your desired cryptocurrencies.

From 14:00:00 on October 4, 2021 to 23:59:59 on October 7, 2021 (UTC), users can buy BTC, ETH, LTC, and KCS with 10% or 30% off coupons. (For the minimum amount and the upper limit, please check the activity page.)

From 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 on October 8, 2021 (UTC), users can buy BTC, ETH, LTC, KCS, and VRA with 90% off coupons.

Users who have more than 1 coupon with the same discount level of 1 cryptocurrency can see their total purchase quota on the page and decide how many coupons and purchase quotas to use each time.

Last but not the least, in addition to completing tasks, users also have the chance to get more cryptocurrencies for free via the ‘Red Envelope Rain’. At 9:00:00, 13:00:00, 17:00:00, and 21:00:00 on October 8, 2021 (UTC), KuCoin, together with Telcoin (TEL), Terra (LUNA), Trias (TRIAS), and Hathor (HTR), will send random red envelopes on a first-come, first-served basis.
