Most people are still comparing blockchains by TPS. I think that’s the wrong metric. What really matters is how quickly a user can interact with an application without feeling the delay. That’s where Rise stands out. Instead of building another Ethereum L2 that simply batches transactions more efficiently, Rise is rebuilding the execution layer itself. Through Parallel EVM, transactions can be processed across multiple CPU cores rather than waiting in a single queue. The goal isn’t just higher throughput, it’s creating an experience that feels instant. What caught my attention is that Rise isn’t asking developers to abandon the Ethereum ecosystem. Existing EVM tools, contracts, and workflows can still be used while benefiting from a completely different performance profile. The long-term opportunity here is bigger than cheaper swaps or faster DeFi. Real-time games, onchain order books, prediction markets, consumer apps, AI agents, and applications that require thousands of interactions per second have all struggled with blockchain limitations for years. Rise is betting that the next generation of crypto applications won't be built on chains that are merely scalable. They'll be built on infrastructure that users don't even notice because everything happens instantly. If Ethereum is the settlement layer, Rise is making a strong case to become the execution layer that finally brings Web2-level responsiveness onchain. That’s a much bigger story than TPS. @risechain @hai_rise
