Trader Qwatio Faces $12.5M Loss After Eight Liquidations in a Week

According to CoinTelegraph, a trader known as Qwatio has experienced eight liquidations in the past week, resulting in a total loss of $12.5 million. The latest incident involved a partial liquidation of an Ether position leveraged at 25X, with a new liquidation price set at $2,534. Ether's price has been fluctuating between $2,425 and $2,519 in the last 24 hours. Earlier, Qwatio faced six liquidations in three days, losing $10 million. Despite these setbacks, Qwatio previously netted a $6.8 million profit in March by leveraging positions on Ether and Bitcoin. Meanwhile, another trader, James Wynn, known for significant crypto bets, has opened a small short Bitcoin position with a 40X leverage. Wynn has a history of large losses, including a $1 billion loss on risky trades.
