Citing MetaEra, on November 19 (UTC+8), digital asset prime broker and fintech services provider LTP announced that its subsidiary, LiquidityTech Limited, has received approval from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to upgrade its Type 1 license (securities trading). This upgrade allows LTP to offer fully licensed virtual asset deposit (VA-in) and withdrawal (VA-out) services. Previously, LiquidityTech Limited held SFC licenses for Types 1, 2, 4, 5, and 9, but virtual asset services were limited to fiat on-ramps. Now, institutional and professional investors can directly deposit and withdraw major tokens through LTP’s regulated platform under Hong Kong’s regulatory framework, seamlessly connecting to LTP’s comprehensive regulated trading and brokerage services.
