Your ARC account doesn't live on some remote server waiting to be accessed or compromised from afar. It begins on your own hardware, right there with the device you actually use every day. The phone in your hand or the laptop on your desk is where the key gets created. It comes from Touch ID scanning your fingerprint, Windows Hello recognizing your face, or the YubiKey you carry and plug in when needed. @TheARCTERMINAL never gets that key sent over. They don't keep any shared secret or backup that could substitute for it. This leaves them with nothing to hand over or lose. An operator has no secret to leak, whether by error or under pressure. A legal demand can't pull out what was never stored. Even someone inside the company with full access to their systems couldn't quietly pull your account open without your hardware and your presence. The whole arrangement keeps the power where it started. It stays with you and the things only you control locally.
