In terms of trading data, eToro recorded 1.4 million cryptocurrency trades in July, a 73% year-over-year decline; the average investment amount per cryptocurrency trade was $182, down 50% year-over-year. Cryptocurrency-related revenue for the second quarter amounted to $1.346 billion, below $1.915 billion in the same period of 2025. Despite the decline in cryptocurrency revenue, the company’s overall net profit increased by 77% year-over-year to $53.48 million. In its cryptocurrency strategy, eToro completed the acquisition of the digital asset self-custody platform Zengo and the Israeli crypto trading platform Bit2C during the second quarter to strengthen its self-custody services and promote the integration of traditional finance with on-chain economics. Additionally, the company made a strategic investment in the on-chain perpetuals platform Extended and became a founding partner of the Open USD stablecoin ecosystem alliance, further enhancing its commitment to on-chain trading and stablecoin infrastructure. As of the end of the second quarter, eToro’s holdings of cryptocurrency assets amounted to $49.95 million, down from $62.61 million at the end of 2025.
