Brazil to issue yuan-denominated bonds

Brazil plans to issue its first yuan-denominated panda bond during a June 24-26 government delegation visit to China, aiming to diversify external debt away from the dollar.

$BTC : crash incoming...?

The last time the CLARITY Act was delayed, Bitcoin crashed from $97,000 to $64,000.

If the bill does not pass by August 7, it could be pushed beyond the summer recess.

I’m watching whether the same pattern repeats.

I've been in crypto for years. And I've never seen exchanges move into gold in the middle of a crypto cycle. Why? Because crypto spot trading volume has fallen to $679B - the lowest level since late 2023. That's down 46% from last year and 67% from the peak. Retail traders have largely disappeared. Exchanges didn't sit around waiting. They moved into gold, silver, and oil. Those markets are already doing $450B in monthly volume. They followed the money. Crypto isn't dead. But the crowd has left.

Remember when everyone said institutions would bring endless liquidity to crypto? Spot trading volume just hit its lowest level since October 2023. -46% YoY -67% from the 2025 peak Meanwhile, crypto exchanges are rushing to offer gold ( $XAU), silver ( $XAG), oil ( $WTI), and stock perpetuals. That tells you everything. The growth story isn't crypto right now. It's everything outside of it.

RETAIL HAS VANISHED FROM THE CRYPTO MARKET CEX spot volume collapsed to $679 billion, the lowest level since October 2023, as per CryptoQuant. Spot trading is now down 46% YoY, a staggering -67% drawdown from its October 2025 peak. Major exchanges are rushing to pivot to gold, silver, oil, stocks, where the monthly volume has already exploded beyond $450 billion.

Why >50% of U.S. stock trading now happening off-exchange is a big deal: When the majority of volume bypasses public exchanges (NYSE/Nasdaq), it’s mostly retail orders being internalized by wholesalers (Citadel, Virtu, etc.). This is classic retail froth — the same dynamic we saw at previous market peaks. Chart via @Barchart
