Strategy BTC sale dispute

Strategy sold 32 BTC between May 26–31, but Polymarket ruled against 'Yes' bettors due to June 1 public disclosure. UMA token holders voted 98.6% for 'No'.

The Five Stages of FOMO Every Crypto Trader Knows Too Well

Nobody plans to buy the top. Somehow, the top still finds us.

Stage one is “I’m just watching.”

You see the token trending. You check the chart. You tell yourself you are calm, rational, and not emotionally involved.

Stage two is “Wait, why is it still pumping?”

Now the timeline is full of rocket emojis. Everyone suddenly sounds like they discovered the project early. You open the chart again. It is higher than five minutes ago.

Stage three is “Maybe I’ll take a small position.”

This is where discipline starts negotiating with ego. The plan was to wait for a pullback. The new plan is “just a little entry.”

Stage four is “I should have bought more.”

The position turns green. Confidence enters the room. Suddenly, risk management feels like something boring people talk about.

Stage five is “Why did I not wait?”

The candle reverses. The same people posting rocket emojis are now posting “healthy correction.” You zoom out, zoom in, change timeframes, and pretend that helped.

The useful lesson is simple: FOMO is not only about greed. It is also about social pressure. When everyone looks confident online, it becomes harder to accept that you missed a move.

A better habit is to decide before the pump:

What price is too late?

What invalidates the trade?

How much can I lose without emotional damage?

Not Financial Advice.

Let's talk about something you don't see everyday. @Roobet , one of the biggest crypto casinos globally, just integrated prediction markets directly into the platform and this is massive. Alongside slots, sports betting, and table games, users can now trade real-world outcomes without leaving Roobet. BTC, crypto markets, elections, sports, macro events, pop culture… it’s all there for you to pick a side, buy a position, cash out anytime, or hold till the end. There’s currently a live BTC market predicting where price lands in June and I really think you should check it out. No new signup needed either. If you already use Roobet, just head to the Predictions tab and trade from your existing balance. Link in comments.

Prediction Markets Are the New Crypto Danger Zone (Polymarket Just Proved It) 🎯 Think memecoins or shady exchanges are the biggest risk? Wrong. It's Polymarket. Saylor's Strategy sold 32 $BTC by May 31, but Polymarket resolved NO because the filing came June 1, wiping Yes bettors (some lost $500k+). Same platform where a soldier used classified intel to 12x his money and a Google engineer cashed $1.2M on internal data. Prediction markets were supposed to be transparent. Instead, rules shift, insiders feast, retail gets rekt. Full breakdown 👇

32% hallucination rate on a research tool people use to make trades. That was Research v1.5. @SurfAI just shipped Research 2.0 on May 19 and brought it down to 8%. The number that actually matters more is report logic consistency: 55% to 94%. In v1.5, more than 4 in 10 outputs contradicted themselves somewhere in the same report. That is not a minor quality issue. That is a product that actively misleads users who read the whole thing. The rebuild fixed the orchestration layer from scratch, not just the model. What data gets pulled, how many sources get cross-referenced, how the answer gets structured. 37 new API endpoints added across prediction markets, institutional capital flows, DeFi comparisons, and Hyperliquid coverage going back to genesis. The Polymarket and Kalshi integration is the one I find genuinely interesting. v1.5 could not answer a single prediction market question. v2.0 can now scan 30 days of 5-minute BTC markets and flag probability reversals in the final 60 seconds before settlement. That is a specific, actionable edge that did not exist two weeks ago. What I want to see next is whether the 8% hallucination rate holds when the portfolio personalization layer ships. Connecting user positions and trading style to the research agent adds a lot of surface area for the model to go wrong in ways that matter more than generic errors.

Polymarket's $8.75M daily fee record, surpassing Uniswap v3, points to a structural shift in where value accrues in crypto. All settlement runs through $UMA's optimistic oracle, yet UMA's $150M market cap seems detached from this throughput. The market may be underpricing infrastructure that scales with real demand.

Got a couple of liquidity rewards today from @Polymarket nothing big, just $0.31 and $4.44. It’s not about the amount right now, but more about how these small rewards keep coming in over time when you stay active in the market. Feels like one of those things where consistency quietly compounds in the background you don’t notice much in a single day, but over time it adds up. Still learning how LP dynamics really work, but seeing these small payouts keeps me more interested in how the system distributes value to liquidity providers.

It’s honestly insane to me that nearly every other onchain sportsbook has pivoted into prediction-market UX. I refuse to believe the average sports bettor prefers seeing odds as “25 cents” instead of a 4.00x decimal multiplier, +300, or any format they already understand. With SportsAMM, what you see is what you get. You don’t have to worry about whether your order gets filled, how much gets filled, or at what final price. If the UI quotes you 4.00x, you get 4.00x. That’s it. And beyond UX, SportsAMM offers products that onchain prediction markets are nowhere near implementing efficiently anytime soon: • Parlays • In-bet parlays • Same game parlays • System bets • Live markets • Player props • And more Then add the resolution issues, slow grading, and weird edge-case rules around niche markets like player props, and prediction markets become almost unusable for me as a sports bettor. Narratives will always shift back and forth. But we believe Overtime offers the best onchain sports betting UX, bar none.

📉 POLYMARKET SKEPTICAL AS STRATEGY SELLS BITCOIN IN MAY, BULLISH FOR JUNE 🟠 Polymarket's latest stance reflects a cautious approach, signaling "No" for May's price predictions after Strategy's recent Bitcoin sale 📉. The sale may point to underlying market hesitance, especially as analysts debate the implications of selling in a bearish environment. However, optimism grows for June as traders anticipate a potential shift in sentiment and market behavior 🌐. 📰 Source: CoinDesk Is this cautious sentiment just a temporary blip, or are we witnessing a shift in institutional confidence? 👇
