Precio de Marinade

Marinade (MNDE) is the governance token of Marinade Finance, a liquid staking protocol built on the Solana blockchain. Marinade.Finance aims to provide a seamless staking experience for Solana holders without locking in liquidity by transforming SOL into mSOL, which represents a tokenized version of Solana.

mSOL represents the staked SOL and accrues value over time as you earn staking rewards. mSOL can be used in various DeFi protocols for liquidity provision or yield farming, enabling you to earn additional yields on your staked assets.

By staking SOL, Marinade contributes to the security and stability of the Solana network. Marinade often provides a user-friendly interface to attract experienced and new crypto users.

MNDE enables users to participate in the Marinade DAO. To engage in the governance process, you must mint a 'Chef NFT' by locking MNDE tokens for a minimum of 30 days. As an MNDE token holder, you can participate in the protocol's governance, including control over the DAO's fees and treasury.

Marinade Finance is one of the largest liquid staking protocols on the Solana blockchain. Here’s an overview of how it works:

Stake SOL on Marinade Finance

You can earn rewards by staking your SOL through Marinade Finance. Instead of staking directly with Solana validators, you simply stake with Marinade.

Receive mSOL for Liquid Staking SOL

Upon staking SOL, you receive mSOL tokens in return. mSOL stands for Marinade staked SOL and represents your staked SOL plus the accrued staking rewards. The value of mSOL gradually increases over time relative to SOL as you accumulate staking rewards.

Decentralized and Automatic Validator Selection

Marinade automatically allocates the staked SOL to a diverse set of validators on the Solana network. This process optimizes yield and contributes to the Solana blockchain's decentralization and security.

Earn Compounded Staking Rewards

The staked SOL earns staking rewards. These rewards are reflected in the increasing value of mSOL relative to SOL. You can benefit from compounding rewards without needing to claim or restake them manually.

Provide Liquidity with mSOL in the Solana Ecosystem

The mSOL tokens can be used in various DeFi protocols within the Solana ecosystem. You can provide liquidity, engage in yield farming, or use mSOL for other investment strategies. This flexibility allows you to earn additional yield on your staked assets.

Marinade Finance launched its liquid staking protocol and the mSOL liquid staking token on the Solana mainnet in August 2021. The MNDE governance token, which plays a crucial role in the Marinade ecosystem by allowing holders to participate in protocol governance, was minted later on November 7, 2021.

This launch was part of a fair-launch approach, meaning it did not involve an Initial Coin Offering (ICO). Marinade Finance further enhanced its governance system by introducing on-chain DAO governance in April 2022, enabling more direct control and decision-making by MNDE holders within the platform.

In July 2023, Marinade Finance made significant changes to its MNDE token distribution and liquidity mining program. The focus shifted from time-based emissions to rewarding TVL (Total Value Locked) milestones. Consequently, liquidity mining gauges were paused, and the primary methods for receiving MNDE became contributions to the DAO, grant proposals, milestones, or the Open Doors Program.

This strategy aims to allocate more MNDE from the total 1 billion supply primarily when protocol TVL increases. These changes mark a strategic shift in Marinade Finance's approach to token distribution and incentive structures within its ecosystem.

The Marinade Finance (MNDE) token is primarily used for governance within the Marinade ecosystem. As an MNDE holder, you can participate in decision-making processes, influencing key aspects of the protocol.

This includes control over the decentralized autonomous organization's (DAO) fees, treasury, and the selection of validators who receive the SOL stake from the pool. By holding and using MNDE tokens, you can actively contribute to the direction and policies of Marinade Finance.

Buy or sell MNDE, or hold it long-term if you believe in the long-term potential of the Marinade.Finance project. Remember to do your own research (DYOR) before entering any trades in the crypto market.
