Emma — Sales and Business Development Manager of PUMLx

Emma is a passionate Sales and Business Development Manager. As Head of Sales, she creates and leads PUML's repeatable inbound sales strategy. Additionally, Emma manages PUML's in-house NFT studio including creative direction and development. Emma's core expertise lies in development, sales and partnerships with companies across both Web2 and Web3.

Q: What is PUML, and what have you achieved to date?

Emma: PUML has established itself as a key player in the Web3 space with its Move-to-Earn App in the market since 2018, incentivizing healthy behaviors through Corporate Wellness Move to Earn, Brands and Athletes.

PUML has worked with some of the biggest organizations in Australia and worldwide, from Deloitte to LVMH and beyond. We have successfully developed the world's first corporate wellness platform that uses crypto to reward healthy behaviors and activity. The team has been devoted to the progression of the "Move-to-Earn" space as much as the PUML ecosystem. At its core, PUML is the culmination of multiple people's ideas, passions, beliefs, and knowledge.

Q: What is included as part of the PUML ecosystem?

Emma: The main part of our business is our Web2-friendly app that aims to onboard and educate non-crypto native consumers. We also have Wearx NFTs that further gamify our app experience and make the PUML ecosystem stickier. Athlete NFTs will help to foster new relationships with Athletes and build their net worth/fanbase. Last, but not least, A robust staking model that aims to reward PUMLx ecosystem participants for the next half decade (at minimum)

Q: What are the key features and products?

Emma: One of the coolest things I think PUML has done is integrating our dual token model. This encompasses a valueless, infinite supply, in-game only coin (PUML) and a high utility, tradeable, finite supply coin (PUMLx). This allows PUML to operate within the US, providing a large potential user base on B2B (PUML Corporate Offering, which has seen over $500K in real revenue in the last 12 months) and B2C (individual users). In addition, PUML allows crypto native users to earn rewards using Move-to-Earn principles. Users are not required to own NFT or PUMLx tokens to start earning, but our WearX collection will introduce additional gameplay and multipliers!

Unlike most M2E projects, we have a multi-revenue role (primary & secondary NFT sales, corporate facing API keys, and more). The PUML app seamlessly connects to all major wearables (Garmin, Apple Watch, Fitbit, and more), allowing accurate health data tracking. All integrations are native connections, and PUML can gamify rich health data such as steps, heart rate, calories, and more.

Data ownership is important to us, and we are proud of our distributed digital health record to protect user data.

Users can earn PUML by completing various challenges, including Steps, Meditation, Sleep, and more, and then burn those in-game tokens for the Web3 native coin, PUMLx. This means our product is accessible to everyone!

Q: How will PUML ensure that this model is sustainable?

Emma: Move-to-Earn as a whole has been historically tough to sustain for longer periods:

1. Rewards can dwindle too quickly if not emitted sustainably.

2. Revenue needs to be consistent to maintain the ecosystem.

3. User acquisition ideally should remain relatively consistent with a high percentage of user retention.

Our team has put a lot of research, market testing, and development into our product. I touched on this briefly. To deliver on a sustainable project, we have developed a unique tokenomic model based on corporate revenue, brand revenue, Athlete & WearX NFT revenue, and movement finance API revenue. This ensures our platform can continue to build as we grow into a mass-market product.

Our accessibility and ease of use make us a great option for Web2 users wanting to participate in the ecosystem with little risk compared to some traditional market entry methods.

Q: What are PUML's long-term goals?

Emma: We hope to be the intersection between Web2 fitness entertainment and Web3 gamification. PUMLs ecosystem has been built to lead the charge of onboarding new users into the Web3 world while helping them build healthy habits and smash their long-term exercise goals.

We want to make sure everyone has the best experience possible! And we hope the wider market will feel the effects of our onboarding into the wider crypto & NFT spaces. Our team is ridiculously passionate. We love this space. All of us started as "degens!"

Q: Have you been audited?

Emma: Yes. Our contracts and tech are audited and verified by Chainsulting. Security is extremely important to us, and we will ensure all measures are taken.

Q: When can we convert the earned PUML tokens to PUMLx tokens? Do we need to acquire an NFT to earn, or can we start for free?

Emma: Shortly after our Token Generation Event - we will announce further instructions and timing for our burn protocol. For the second question, No. You certainly don't need an NFT to earn. You can download our BETA app right now, as long as it's available in your country!

Q: Tell us more about the Ambassador Program and in what ways we can participate.

Emma: Everybody has access to our in-app referral system. By navigating to "My Wallet," you will be able to get your unique referral code. Participating with friends is always great, so we want to reward the leaders! You can apply through our ambassadorship program if you would like a more formal opportunity.

Q: Are you a global or a local project, and which market are you focusing on?

Emma: Originally, we were a local project specific to the APAC region. However, many of our users and clients have "taken us with them" internationally, so we will be increasing our international footprint very soon!

Q: Do you reckon community feedback?

Emma: Very much so. Community feedback is extremely important to us. Our team is readily available for discussions across Telegram and Discord. I try to spend 30 mins per day on each! We're always looking for user feedback and sometimes even rewards.
