Q: How would you summarize Bondly in a sentence?

Charles: Bondly is one of the few end-to-end NFT platforms on the market. We execute every step of the process to bring authenticated digital-first goods in sports, music, gaming/Esports, Metaverse, and collectibles with a suite of products and services designed to support the entire blockchain ecosystem.

Q: What have been your biggest milestones to date?

Charles: We've had so many! It's difficult to know where to start.

We’ve had so many great partnerships it’s difficult to choose a favorite, but our launch with Lewis Capaldi for his Big Fat Sexy Digital Collectible Cards was a massive moment not just for Bondly but for the wider music industry. We had a lot of coverage, and of course, the sale itself was a huge success.

Our partnership with IOHK and Cardano to build the official Ethereum-Cardano NFT bridge is also an industry-leading opportunity to build the NFT infrastructure for one of the most innovative and highly anticipated blockchain networks.

Q: The Cardano NFT bridge sounds incredible. What will that entail?

Charles: Oh, that's really exciting, yes let me go into a bit more detail.

The jointly-created bridge will provide NFT creators with an eco-friendly solution for their NFTs to combat the energy inefficiency of Ethereum’s Proof of Work solution. While Bitcoin and Ethereum currently use an amount of energy similar to Oman and Columbia, respectively, Cardano will only ever use the energy equivalent of a family home. Cardano also offers price predictability and stability for transaction costs, which allows creators to mint or transfer NFTs without risking lost transactions or unexpectedly high costs.

Bondly will be able to offer users a way to port their NFTs to a faster, cheaper and more secure network - hopefully by the end of Q1 2022!

Q: Tell us more about your relationship with Animoca Brands.

Charles: Of course. We recently announced that Animoca Brands, owners of The Sandbox and early investors in OpenSea, Axie Infinity and Dapper Labs, purchased a majority stake in Bondly. This has opened up a number of opportunities for the business and we’ve got some super exciting announcements to come soon!

For example, our Bondly Launchpad, already a leading platform for launching new and exciting projects, will be getting a LOT bigger.

Q: What makes Bondly different?

Charles: Yes, it's really important in a saturated market to be distinctive!

As well as providing industry-leading full-stack technology infrastructure for the trading and minting of NFTs we often point to the experiences we create through NFT technology. While other companies have focused on NFTs as a media format to sell, we see it as a gateway to an incredible and immersive fan experience. Our creators are here for the long haul and are committed to releasing new utilities for their NFTs over time, ensuring that any NFTs sold in partnership with Bondly really do have value to fans beyond the short-term.

We also recently launched our new metaverse project, Metaprints, which allows major brands to get on to multiple metaverse projects quickly and simply through our unique network of creators and leading metaverse projects, including The Sandbox and Decentraland.

Q: Where do you think the future lies for NFTs, and how will Bondly be at the forefront of that?

Charles: I think that what’s going to happen is we’re shifting the concept of an NFT being just an item, and we’re shifting it to being an identity. This is especially important in the metaverse, where you can literally display your NFTs on your person in a virtual world.

We’re exploring opportunities around events and experiences using NFTs within the metaverse and we think the future of fan engagement will be largely influenced by metaverse technologies. That’s why we’ve launched Metaprints and why Bondly will be doubling-down on Metaverse and GameFi technologies going forward - with the support of Animoca Brands. The future is so exciting, and I'm honored to be a part of it.

Metaprints is the vehicle that we will use to achieve this, but it is very much a positive for $BONDLY holders and a hugely exciting time to be a holder.

Q: How powerful is your team and what experience and background does your team have?

Charles: We are immensely powerful, haha.

We have some of the industry's most respected individuals working here, people like Doug Ferguson (Head of Gaming), who was Senior VP of Product for Pokemon for 16 years and who was instrumental in developing the Pokemon games. We also have major backing from Animoca Brands and advisors, including founders of The Sandbox and IOHK.

We've always been pioneers in the NFT space and that won't be changing anytime soon, we're just getting started.

Q: Currently, a lot of people are looking at NFTs, metaverse, and games. Can you tell me what advantages you will have in this field in the future?

Charles: One of our key advantages, beyond our wealth of experience in this area, is the access we have through Animoca Brands. For those of you who don't know Animoca, they either own or are heavily invested in the biggest and most well-known metaverse and GameFi projects out there, from The Sandbox to Axie Infinity and also OpenSea! As part of the Animoca family, Bondly has a unique opportunity to partner with some incredible projects in ways that no one else can, giving us the power to create experiences that stretch across multiple platforms (which is the basis behind Metaprints, which brings brands to the metaverse).

Q: Do you have any plans to attract non-crypto investors to join your project? Because the success of a project attracts more investors who haven't yet entered the crypto world. What are the plans to raise awareness about your project in the non-crypto space?

Charles: Yes, on a fundamental level, Bondly has a unique positioning through our partnership with major celebrities and artists to attract new users from outside of the crypto community. For example, our partnership with Logan Paul and Lewis Capaldi allowed us to make worldwide headlines and attract thousands of NFT buyers who'd never before been immersed in NFTs.

Using this approach, we hope to be able to bring more and more people into digital asset ownership, and as I've hinted at a few times, the Metaverse will be a big part of that.

Q: Will Metaprints also include its own marketplace for different brands?

Charles: Yes, we plan to have a platform that allows creators and brands to interact directly with each other, with community voting applied to determine the best products and items created for those brands to be placed in the metaverse. It's a really exciting concept!

Q: What is the most ambitious goal of your project? What is the ultimate vision that your project is trying to achieve within the cryptocurrency market? I would appreciate it if you could share with us any upcoming updates?

Charles: We want to be the leading global gateway for audiences to enter the world of NFTs!

Our partnership with companies like Spring (over 400,000 influencers use this platform) will allow ordinary audiences to buy NFTs powered by Bondly, and by doing so, we can pull them into our ecosystem of products and services that will be then powered by the $BONDLY token. The future will be incredible for our community and holders.
