The Mars Finance report states that on June 13, Standard Chartered analyst Geoffrey Kendrick, in his Friday report, indicated that Bitcoin’s cycle low may have formed around $59,000, signaling the end of this downward phase in the crypto market. Kendrick noted that Bitcoin’s cycle low has been locked in near $59,000, a 53% decline from its all-time high of $126,000 on October 6. He remarked: “Winter is over; welcome back to crypto spring.” Data shows that BTC touched a low of $59,375 on June 5 and is currently trading near $64,000. Kendrick forecasts that by the end of this year, Ethereum will reach $4,000 and Bitcoin will reach $100,000. Kendrick believes this market shift is primarily driven by two factors. First, over the past several weeks, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have experienced one of their most intense selling pressures since listing, with cumulative redemptions exceeding $5.72 billion since the second week of May. He noted that some ETF holders are reportedly liquidating positions to raise cash for participation in the SpaceX IPO, which could signal the nearing end of this specific selling pressure. Second, if the peace agreement between the U.S. and Iran regarding the G7 is genuine, it could help prevent further oil price increases. Kendrick believes that a decline in oil prices would further ease upward pressure on U.S. Treasury yields, thereby alleviating macroeconomic pressure on the crypto market. Kendrick stated that he will monitor three indicators to confirm whether the market bottom is solidifying: whether Michael Saylor’s Strategy announces continued BTC purchases this coming Monday; whether U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs resume net inflows on Friday; and whether international oil prices continue to decline.
