Injective launches GPU futures market

Injective launched a perpetual futures market tied to the Super Intelligence Compute Index (SICI), tracking rental prices for five Nvidia GPUs including H100 (40%) and B200 (25%).

Intel ( $INTC ) is making a $2.3 billion bet on quantum computing. The chipmaker has agreed to acquire Israeli startup Classiq, whose software helps developers build quantum programs that can run across different hardware platforms. The deal would mark a record acquisition in the quantum sector, giving Intel a bigger foothold in a market still searching for mainstream commercial adoption.

New Street Research: Intel $INTC Target Price of $125, Server CPU Revenue Could Reach $50 Billion by 2030 — The CPU Abandoned by AI Is Now Being Rediscovered by Agents On Monday, Intel $INTC rose approximately 4%, closing near $90.50. The stock’s movement was driven by a buy rating and a $125 price target from renowned tech analyst Pierre Ferragu of New Street Research. This target is based on an expected EPS of $7.10 in 2030, valued at a 25x P/E multiple—implying roughly 38% upside from the current price. Meanwhile, Intel announced its acquisition of Israeli quantum software company Classiq and is set to report its third-quarter earnings this Thursday. These developments combined have made Intel one of the most discussed semiconductor stocks on X. Ferragu’s core argument is counterintuitive. Over the past three years, the market has widely assumed that the AI era belongs to GPUs, with CPUs sidelined—and Intel as the biggest loser. But he argues that AI agents are reshaping this dynamic. Unlike training large models, AI agents performing tasks require frequent tool invocation, database access, code execution, and complex logical reasoning—all strengths of CPUs. The more agents deployed, the greater the demand for server CPUs in data centers. According to his estimates, the server CPU market could exceed $220 billion by 2030; if Intel captures 20% to 25% of that market, its server CPU revenue could reach approximately $50 billion. Capacity is another key pillar. Ferragu expects Intel’s server CPU production capacity to increase by more than 50% by 2027, driven by ramp-up of Intel 3 process technology, mass production of the 18A node, and reallocation of some PC chip capacity toward server chips. This is critical: if CPU demand truly rises and capacity keeps pace, Intel stands to benefit on both pricing and market share. The acquisition of Classiq adds another dimension. Intel has not disclosed the deal price, but Israeli media Calcalist and Bloomberg report it is approximately $2.3 billion, paid in cash and stock, with completion expected in the first half of 2027. While commercial quantum computing remains distant, this move signals Intel’s strategic investment in software capabilities for next-generation computing. The bull and bear cases are clearly defined. Bulls argue that Intel’s current valuation still reflects the narrative of an “AI loser,” and if server CPU demand is reignited by AI agents, earnings recovery could be substantial. Bears counter that AMD $AMD has significantly increased its server CPU market share, and Arm-based custom chips are rapidly gaining traction among cloud providers—making it difficult for Intel to maintain over 20% market share. Moreover, the $7.10 EPS forecast for 2030 is over four years away, leaving ample room for uncertainty around process yields, capital expenditures, and execution. Intel has repeatedly delayed process node rollouts in recent years, and skepticism about its execution capability persists. Historically, the relationship between CPUs and accelerators has reversed multiple times. GPUs were once merely graphics cards before becoming primary compute engines. Now, as AI’s focus shifts from training to inference and agents, will CPUs return to center stage? Ferragu is betting exactly on this shift. The next three developments to watch closely: Intel’s Q3 earnings report this Thursday—particularly revenue and guidance for its data center business; progress on 18A process yields and external foundry customers; and whether cloud providers mention increased CPU demand driven by AI agents in their earnings calls. Will AI agents truly restore CPUs to relevance? Do you see Intel as a value opportunity in this cycle—or just another “cheap for a reason” trap?

An AI startup can lock in next-quarter inference prices instead of gambling on GPU rents. A data-center can short the same contract and hedge utilization without selling chips. A trader can go long compute like oil, without owning a single H100.

You can now trade the rental price of Nvidia’s AI chips on the blockchain. Injective has just launched a futures market allowing traders to bet on whether the rental price of Nvidia’s AI chips will rise or fall, with up to 10x leverage. The new index, called SICI, tracks the rental prices of five chip models—H100, B200, H200, A100, and RTX 4090—updated hourly based on data aggregated by LO:TECH. Since AI companies typically rent rather than purchase chips, Injective believes this market enables renters to hedge against rising rental costs and lessors to hedge against declining revenues. The launch comes amid growing financial concerns in the AI compute rental industry.

NEW: @injective / $inj just introduced the Super Intelligence Compute Index ( $SICI ), tracking rental prices across five NVIDIA GPUs. and this isn't injective's first move into AI-related markets. 📍 january 2025: injective introduced AIX, an index perpetual combining AI-related tokens and equities. 📍 2025: injective introduced an onchain market tied to NVIDIA H100 rental prices. now, SICI takes things further with a perpetual market tied to the rental prices of five NVIDIA GPUs. think about that. you're not just trading AI tokens or tech stocks. you're trading a benchmark linked to the computing infrastructure powering AI. from AI-related assets to GPU compute pricing, injective keeps expanding what's possible in onchain finance. $INJ keeps pushing boundaries.

$4STOCK

Every new market cycle tests patience. The loudest traders often arrive after the first rally, while the most disciplined traders are already watching liquidity, price structure, and risk. 4STOCK is on my watchlist after the screenshot showed a reference price of 0.003 and a daily decline of 5.06 percent.

This is a token where liquidity deserves particular attention. A small market order can have a disproportionate impact when trading depth is limited, and a sudden price spike does not necessarily mean sustainable demand. I want to see whether buyers can stabilize the 0.00290 to 0.00300 area, whether volume improves across reliable trading venues, and whether price can recover without an immediate sell-off. Claims of whale accumulation or a dominance shift need independent confirmation.

EP Entry Price: 0.00295 to 0.00305

TP Take Profit: 0.00335

SL Stop Loss: 0.00275

These levels are illustrative and are not based on verified chart support. Check liquidity, spread, and available order depth before considering a position. A stop order may also execute below its intended price in a fast or illiquid market.

The opportunity is not simply about finding the lowest price. It is about finding evidence that demand is returning while keeping downside controlled.

4STOCK remains a high-risk watchlist candidate. I want confirmation, not hope, before committing capital.

I am ready for the move, with risk management first and excitement second.

$LAPTOP

The most uncomfortable moment in a market is often the quiet period when everyone expects prices to keep falling. That is also when traders begin searching for the next sign of strength. LAPTOP is currently on my watchlist after the screenshot showed a reference price of 0.0453 and a daily decline of 2.74 percent.

Weakness alone is not a buying signal. What I want to see is whether sellers lose control around the 0.0440 to 0.0450 area and whether buyers return with meaningful volume. A recovery above nearby short-term resistance would be more convincing than a sudden spike with no follow through. I am also watching whether broader interest in smaller tokens returns, while treating whale movements and volume expansion as unconfirmed until reliable data supports them.

EP Entry Price: 0.0450 to 0.0455

TP Take Profit: 0.0495

SL Stop Loss: 0.0420

This is a speculative plan using the screenshot price as a reference. If the price loses its key area, the trade idea may no longer be valid. Protecting capital is more important than forcing a position because a token looks cheap.

The market is heating up, but not every token will participate equally. LAPTOP needs to demonstrate strength before the bullish case becomes convincing.

I am ready for the move, but I will not confuse a falling price with a guaranteed opportunity.

$MCAT

When the market begins to wake up, the most exciting opportunities often appear in the corners that traders ignored during the quiet period. MCAT is one of the names I am watching closely. The screenshot shows a reference price of 0.63595 and a daily gain of 3.48 percent. That is enough to put the token on the watchlist, but the real test is whether buyers can keep pushing after the first wave of excitement.

I am watching the 0.6200 to 0.6350 region for price stability, followed by a potential breakout supported by stronger volume. If trading activity expands while price makes higher highs, momentum could attract additional attention. If volume fades and early buyers begin selling, the move could lose strength quickly. Whale accumulation, liquidity changes, and broader market dominance should be verified before treating a rally as a confirmed trend.

EP Entry Price: 0.6300 to 0.6400

TP Take Profit: 0.7000

SL Stop Loss: 0.5900

These are illustrative levels, not verified support or resistance. The goal is to plan the trade before the market becomes emotional. I am looking for a controlled entry, a clear invalidation point, and a realistic exit plan.

MCAT could become an interesting momentum watch if buyers deliver confirmation. No chasing, no blind entries, and no assuming that one green candle guarantees a rally.

I am ready for the move, and I will let the chart prove the opportunity.

$TA

The market does not always announce a comeback with a massive green candle. Sometimes it starts quietly, with buyers returning, sentiment shifting, and a few overlooked tokens beginning to attract attention. TA is showing a reference daily gain of 3.52 percent at a price of 0.0626 in the screenshot, putting it on my watchlist as the market heats up again.

The next question is whether this strength has real follow through. I want to see rising trading volume, buyers defending pullbacks, and price holding above the previous breakout area. A shift in market dominance toward smaller tokens could create additional opportunities, but that shift must be confirmed with broader market data. I am also watching for verified large-wallet activity rather than relying on rumors.

EP Entry Price: 0.0620 to 0.0630

TP Take Profit: 0.0680

SL Stop Loss: 0.0585

The potential setup depends on price stability and volume confirmation. I do not want to chase a candle after the easy move has already happened. I want to see whether buyers can turn momentum into a sustained trend.

TA is on the radar. The next move belongs to the market, and patience will matter as much as conviction.

I am ready for the move, waiting for confirmation before taking the risk.

$DEBIT

The market does not reward impatience forever. Some of the strongest setups appear when traders stop chasing price and start waiting for confirmation. DEBIT, also known as Teller, is displayed at 1.0832, down 2.43 percent in the last 24 hours.

For now, I am treating this as a recovery watch rather than a confirmed bullish setup. Buyers need to reclaim nearby resistance and demonstrate that demand is returning. Improving volume, stronger closes, and a supportive broader market would help build confidence. Bitcoin dominance and verified large-wallet flows could provide additional context, but neither can be determined from this screenshot.

If DEBIT regains strength, the next upside levels become worth monitoring. If selling pressure continues, there is no reason to force an entry. Capital preservation remains part of every trading plan.

EP: 1.0900 to 1.1000, only after reclaim and confirmation

TP1: 1.1400

TP2: 1.1900

SL: 1.0500

These are speculative recovery levels, not a confirmed buy signal. A failed reclaim invalidates the setup.

DEBIT needs to prove that buyers are returning before the next opportunity becomes attractive. I am ready for the move.
