🚨JPMORGAN IS NOT AGAINST THE CLARITY ACT JPMorgan supports crypto regulation bill, but says crypto firms should not get easier rules than banks. The bank believes innovation is important, but not at the cost of financial stability. • Securities like tokens should follow securities laws. • Crypto exchanges should meet the same standards as traditional exchanges. • Stable coins can improve payments, but need bank level oversight if they act like deposits. • Yield bearing stable coins could increase the risk of bank run style withdrawals.

🇺🇸 $4.9T banking giant JPMorgan says Bitcoin and digital assets are steadily moving toward the core of the U.S. financial system. The bank believes innovation should strengthen trust—not weaken it—and is urging lawmakers to establish a clear regulatory framework as crypto adoption accelerates. Is this another major sign that institutional adoption is entering a new era? 🚀

JPMorgan: Back Crypto Rules, But Don’t Let Stablecoins Sidestep Bank Regulations JPMorgan Chase backed a U.S. framework for digital assets but warned that new rules should close regulatory gaps rather than create new risks. The bank said tokenization and programmable money could improve payments and cross-border transfers if paired with proper safeguards. It also argued that stablecoins resembling bank deposits should not operate outside capital, liquidity and consumer protection rules, and urged lawmakers to preserve anti-money laundering and enforcement tools.

It may be a slightly bold take, but I did not interpret JPMorgan’s blog post as supporting the Clarity Act, as some have suggested. The authors praised the potential of digital assets to enable tokenization and modernize financial infrastructure, yet stopped short of endorsing specific legislation. Instead, they broadly advocated for a “framework” for digital asset market structures with stronger safeguards, echoing concerns previously raised by JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon regarding stablecoin yields and illicit finance. What stood out to me was the paragraph immediately following their overview of JPMorgan’s digital asset initiatives: “Responsible innovation is already possible within existing guardrails and can scale further with the right framework.” To me, this suggests that JPMorgan believes responsible innovation is already feasible under today’s regulatory framework, while also viewing market structure legislation as beneficial—if it addresses long-standing concerns around stablecoin yields and illicit finance. #ClarityAct #cryptocurrency #crypto

"A fraud." "A pet rock." "I'd close it down." That was JPMorgan on Bitcoin for years. This week the same bank says digital assets are "moving into the core" of the financial system. Don't act surprised. He wanted it cheaper while he loaded up. Talk the price down, accumulate quietly, then announce you were early. Oldest move on Wall Street. And it's a preview. The people calling Bitcoin worthless today are the ones who'll sell it hardest a decade from now, once they own enough to sell. Their words follow their bags. They always have. So stop trading on what they say. A man calling it worthless while his firm builds the rails to hold it isn't handing you analysis. He's managing his entry. Study the asset. Use your own brain. The only conviction that survives a cycle is the kind you built yourself.

🚨JPMORGAN DEMANDS TOUGH RULES FOR STABLECOINS MIMICKING BANK DEPOSITS! JPMorgan executives today urged clear U.S. digital-asset legislation via the Clarity Act, but stressed it must close gaps and apply bank-level safeguards (capital, liquidity, consumer protection, AML) to stablecoins and tokenized products that resemble deposits. The bank supports tokenization innovation for faster payments while warning against unregulated loopholes.
