Citi estimates 6.5–6.9 million BTC have exposed keys, worth $450B, vulnerable to quantum attacks. Bitcoin's slow upgrades raise concerns.

A lot of blockchain infrastructure today still operates under the assumption that current cryptographic systems will remain secure indefinitely. @quipnetwork takes a very different stance by treating quantum advancement as a long term infrastructure challenge instead of a distant hypothetical problem. That’s why the project keeps exploring post quantum resistant approaches such as: • hash based signatures • one time key architectures • reduced key reuse exposure • layered verification models The important part isn’t “quantum panic.” It’s recognizing how slow ecosystem level migrations actually are. Wallet providers, exchanges, applications, bridges, and users all need time to adapt once standards begin changing. By the time the threat becomes obvious to everyone, the transition itself could already become the bottleneck. That’s what makes Quip’s direction stand out to me. It’s less focused on reacting later and more focused on building infrastructure with future cryptographic assumptions already in mind.

The biggest risks aren’t the ones you see. They’re the ones you assume won’t matter. For years, quantum has been treated as a future problem. Too early. Too far away. Too uncertain. But progress doesn’t slow down because we ignore it. And when it arrives, it doesn’t give time to prepare. Diamante was built for the risks others postpone. Because what you don’t plan for doesn’t disappear. It compounds.

"If we get measurable traction on quantum, we could have a new all-time high very quickly." After covering institutional flows, energy fair value, and the quantum threat, Charles Edwards (@caprioleio) brings it together with a clear view on where Bitcoin goes from here. His near-term outlook is grounded in the institutional buying data. Institutions have flipped from net sellers to net buyers, and for Charles, that's the only signal that matters right now. He has a specific price target in mind. But the longer-term picture hinges entirely on quantum. He names the exact development that would trigger a major repricing, and the one level that, if broken, invalidates the bull case entirely. Both are in the clip. Link in the comments.

Wake up and build, legends. While the rest of CT is still asleep, we’re here with @quipnetwork building toward a post-quantum future. Securing BTC, ETH, and SOL with real post-quantum resilience and zero migration pain. Proof of Useful Work is shifting the narrative — from wasted compute to real optimization across AI logistics and finance. And the Mindshare leaderboard is live: top 315 creators will share $100K $QUIP at TGE. The real question today: Who’s stacking? Who’s running nodes? Who’s shipping alpha? Drop your best Quip below. Never drop Quip.

Quantum security just became real. @quipnetwork is building the first post quantum Layer for Web3. Protecting wallets, assets, and smart contracts against tomorrow’s quantum threats, today. Seamless integration across Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and beyond. No migration. No disruption. Just unbreakable futurem proof security. The worldwide quantum computer is here.

Friends to be honest everyone is still treating quantum security as something to talk about in the future. Meanwhile @quipnetwork has been building its infrastructure as if that clock has already started ticking. There’s also the utility mining aspect of it which most people overlook. Projects like this usually go unnoticed and then suddenly before you know it, they’re front and center on everyone’s radar..

good night quiping fam, bitcoin quantum defense keeps getting framed like a future governance fight. @quipnetwork is turning it into a product problem you can solve now. that is the part the market is missing. Quip already pushed post quantum Bitcoin protection through arch network without waiting for a soft fork, a community vote, or a full custody migration. the arch sdk is already on npm, and the consumer wallet was slated to launch right after the announcement. → quips goal: make bitcoin quantum defense deployable before consensus catches up. → keeps existing custody intact instead of forcing users into new rails. → gives developers a live integration path, not just a research paper. → shows quip can turn security debate into usable infrastructure. that is a much stronger signal than quantum is coming. it means the migration layer is already being built while the argument is still happening. see u soon....

🚨 BNB Chain Passes Post-Quantum Security Tests — But Network Speed Drops Up to 50% BNB Chain has released new research showing that its blockchain can successfully migrate toward post-quantum cryptography, though the upgrade comes with major scalability trade-offs. According to the report, BNB Smart Chain tested replacing current cryptographic systems with: • ML-DSA-44 quantum-resistant signatures • pqSTARK validator aggregation technology The results showed that post-quantum readiness is technically achievable today, but significantly increases transaction and block sizes. Key findings from the tests: • Transaction throughput dropped by ~40% • Gas throughput fell by up to 50% • Block sizes increased from ~130 KB to nearly 2 MB • Signature sizes expanded from 65 bytes to ~2.4 KB Researchers noted that the biggest challenge was not consensus stability, but the massive increase in network data transmission requirements. Despite the slowdown, validator aggregation remained efficient thanks to pqSTARK compression, which reduced validator signature overhead by roughly 43:1. BNB Chain emphasized that quantum computers do not currently pose an immediate threat to blockchain encryption, but the research is part of long-term infrastructure preparation for future cybersecurity risks. #BNB #BNBChain #Blockchain #Crypto #QuantumComputing
