The DTCC holds more than $114 trillion in securities. In July, it began live tokenized trades, with a wider rollout covering Russell 1000 stocks, major ETFs and US Treasuries. Tokenized real-world assets have reached $31.4 billion, and tokenized stocks alone grew from about $375 million to $1.21 billion in one year. Tokenization is moving from pilots into the systems that run traditional markets. That changes what institutions look for in a network. They need predictable settlement, clear control over who can see what, and tools that fit how financial teams already work. Diamante's Enterprise Chaincode environment was designed for this kind of business logic. The next phase of tokenization will be shaped by infrastructure that works reliably every day.

OFFICIAL SECURITY INCIDENT ANNOUNCEMENT To the Diamante Community, We regret to inform our community that the Diamante ecosystem has experienced a security breach involving unauthorized activity by a malicious actor. Immediately after identifying the incident, our team activated emergency security protocols and worked around the clock to contain the situation, protect ecosystem participants, and coordinate recovery efforts. We want to clarify the actions we're taking and our commitment to the community. 1. Immediate Security Measures We have been working directly with our exchange partners, market makers, liquidity providers, and listing partners to coordinate the suspension of affected withdrawals and transfers, restrict unauthorized asset movements, and prevent further exploitation. Our security teams are actively monitoring the situation and implementing additional protective measures across the ecosystem. 2. Identification of the Attacker Our investigation has identified the individual believed to be responsible for this attack. We are actively coordinating with relevant law enforcement authorities, government agencies, and jurisdictional partners across multiple countries to pursue appropriate legal action and asset recovery. We intend to exhaust every available legal and technical avenue to hold the responsible party accountable. 3. Comprehensive Investigation We are initiating a full incident review with our technical and security partners to determine the breach's precise cause, establish the full sequence of events, assess the extent of any affected assets, and strengthen our infrastructure against future threats. As the investigation progresses, we will share verified findings with the community while preserving the integrity of ongoing recovery and enforcement efforts. 4. Our Commitment to Making the Community Whole We recognize the seriousness of this incident and the trust that our community has placed in Diamante. Our commitment is clear: We will work to ensure that every affected participant in the Diamante ecosystem is made whole. We are actively evaluating the full extent of the incident and coordinating the necessary recovery and remediation measures with our partners. Protecting our ecosystem participants and their assets remains our highest priority. 5. Community Safety and Official Communications During this period, we urge all community members to remain vigilant. Please rely exclusively on verified Diamante communication channels for official updates. Our team will never request private keys, seed phrases, or wallet credentials, nor will we ask users to connect their wallets to unverified recovery websites. We will communicate any required actions directly through our official channels. 6. Continued Transparency We understand that our community deserves timely answers, accountability, and decisive action. We will provide further updates as verified information becomes available, including the scope of the incident, progress toward asset recovery, and the measures being implemented to safeguard the ecosystem. We are treating this incident with the utmost urgency and dedicating the necessary resources to resolve it. To every member of the Diamante community, we recognize the responsibility that comes with your trust, and we remain fully committed to protecting the long-term security and integrity of this ecosystem. Thank you for your patience and continued support. The Diamante Team

Europol's October report puts roughly 6 to 6.9 million BTC in addresses with exposed public keys. Their assessment, in plain terms: exposed keys cannot be secured retroactively. The only protection is moving those funds before a capable machine arrives, and that migration is measured in years, not weeks. Diamante is built for the future.

Every few months, someone says quantum will end crypto. We saw this coming a long time ago, which is why #Diamante was built with a quantum-proof network from the start. Stay calm; we’ve got you covered.

Last week Justin Drake called for "bunker mode": migrate to hashed-address wallets before quantum arrives. He's right about the urgency. A hashed address keeps your public key hidden until you spend no public key, nothing for a quantum computer to attack. But here's the honest part: hashed addresses only protect funds that haven't moved. Every transaction reveals the public key. And the 7 million BTC in vulnerable wallets can't migrate themselves. Bunker mode is a good emergency plan. Architecture that never needed the bunker is even better.

Some of the best conversations in Web3 happen away from the main stage. Together with @introductioncom, we hosted The VIP Penthouse above the circuit in Singapore, bringing together leaders from payments, banking, and crypto as TOKEN2049 began. Thank you to every founder, investor, and leader who joined us.

Your crypto wallet is protected by math that quantum computers are learning to break. Every Bitcoin and Ethereum wallet relies on elliptic-curve signatures, a scheme that was never designed for a world with quantum computers. A sufficiently powerful quantum machine running Shor’s algorithm could derive private keys from public ones. That’s not a wallet bug. That’s the foundation. And the threat isn’t waiting for the machine to exist. “Harvest now, decrypt later” is already a documented attack strategy: adversaries capture encrypted data today and simply wait. The institutions saw it coming. NIST finalized the first post-quantum cryptography standards in August 2024. Then 2026 was launched as the Year of Quantum Security, with the FBI, CISA and NIST at the table, treating quantum as operational, not theoretical. CISA now requires US agencies to buy only quantum-safe products in key technology categories. So the question was never if cryptography changes. It’s whether your chain changes with it or gets changed by it.

When institutions evaluate blockchain infrastructure, the question cannot stop at: How does it perform today? A longer-term evaluation also asks: Can the network adapt as cryptographic assumptions change? Can assets and data remain protected over their useful lifetime? Can upgrades happen without compromising continuity? Infrastructure earns trust by being designed for the future it will actually have to operate in.
