WLFI token unlocks and governance dispute

WLFI proposes 16B token unlock and 4.5B burn, faces governance tensions with Justin Sun over alleged backdoor controls and liquidity risks.

The team has made a decision aligned with long-term investors: 80% of the initial tokens will remain locked for the next two years, and will then be released gradually on a linear basis. To me, this reflects a strong commitment to the long-term sustainability of $WLFI. The focus is clear: manage supply, build value, and execute. Patience and long-term vision will make the difference. Growth will come.

Looking at the new $WLFI governance proposal. 2-year cliff + vesting for early supporters, team and advisors, with optional token burns. IMO: If approved, it should reduce sell pressure and improve long-term alignment.

$WLFI governance proposal is live: • 62.28B tokens to be locked • Up to 4.5B burned • Longer vesting for team + early supporters • Clearer supply over the next 4–5 years Big shift from uncertainty to a more defined structure.

ok guys, $WLFI governance proposal is live. here's what's on the table: > 62.3b locked tokens get a real vesting schedule > early supporters (17b): 2-year cliff, then 2-year linear vesting > team, founders, advisors (45.2b): 10% burn (~4.5b gone), rest vests over 5 years after a 2-year cliff > quorum 1b, simple majority to pass > opt-out = your tokens stay locked, but you keep voting rights

Two stories. Same project WLFI: Justin Sun dispute, Dolomite fallout, blacklist concerns, legal pressure The token is absorbing all of it USD1: $25M minted, $3M burned → net +$22M Same ecosystem, different instruments $WLFI = governance risk USD1 = product behavior Right now, they are not moving the same
