OneCoin scam victims get compensation
US DOJ opens claims for OneCoin victims, offering over $40M in seized funds. Deadline to file is June 30, 2026.

A fake app. A real seed phrase. $424K gone. And reportedly $9.5M overall drained from 50+ victims in just one week, per ZachXBT. Apple's "walled garden" didn't stop this. The rule is simple and non-negotiable: your 24-word seed phrase should never be typed into any screen, ever — not a Mac, not a phone, not a hardware wallet interface. If any app asks for it, that's the attack. Full stop. #Ledger #BTC #cryptonews

Stop falling for illiterate FUD. Polkadot didn’t get hacked—an ETH-based swap did. Those 1B “exploited” DOT? Frozen. Locked. Zero sell pressure coming for your bags. If SOL survived an $8 nosedive after a real chain compromise, your “dead” DOT thesis is just noise. "Rebranding is marketing, not a funeral." RT if you’re scooping while the mid-curves panic. #Polkadot #DOT #Crypto #Altcoins #Bitcoin

just 4 months into 2026… and the number of hacks already is alarming same mistakes… same losses… same outcomes > the biggest ones so far Drift Protocol - $285M in April - attackers spent months social engineering their way in - gained admin access and drained funds - one of the biggest hits this year Random user - $282M in January - got tricked into giving access - one wrong click… everything gone Step Finance - $27M–$40M in January - team device compromised - private keys stolen Truebit - $26M in January - smart contract exploit - attacker minted tokens and drained ETH Resolv Labs - $25M in March - cloud system compromised - fake stablecoins minted Saga bridge - $7M in January - bridge exploit - funds drained quickly IoTeX bridge - $4.4M in February - validator key compromised - fake tokens minted Hyperbridge - $237K in April - fake bridge messages used to mint tokens Dango - over 400k exploited > the real problem (how these hacks were performed) - phishing - stolen keys - bad permissions - social engineering - poor security practices not some genius-level hacks… just the same preventable mistakes It's 2026, is there any clear solution past this...??? 🤔

🚨 Security Alert: A fake @Ledger Live app on the Apple Mac App Store just drained 5.92 $BTC (+-$424K) after a user input their 24-word seed phrase. @zachxbt is tracking the stolen funds. Reminder: NEVER enter your hardware wallet seed phrase into any computer or phone screen. Hardware wallet seeds are for the physical device ONLY. Verify app signatures and stick to official domains. #Bitcoin #Ledger #CryptoSecurity

The founder of Believe has been accused of involvement in a multi-million-dollar rug pull scam. According to SolanaFloor, Pasternak, a Sydney-based entrepreneur and founder of the Solana ecosystem app Believe, faces charges in a New York court for allegedly participating in a crypto rug pull scam that resulted in millions of dollars in losses.

The Hyperbridge hack runs parallel to Polkadot's security model. In Hyperbridge, a forged proof executed privileged operations and drained the entire bridge. Polkadot has the same model and is subject to the same attack -- a bug in the Hub parachain can break the entire relay chain. In @jarchain, we're developing some defence-in-depth methods that will make this types of attacks basically impossible, drawing ideas from microkernel security models. We'll share our design soon.
