Analysis by Rotko, for the Polkadot dotUSD hack. https://t.co/L73Me1Q7kz I'll let everyone judge themselves whether this was a genuine mistake or actually intentional. https://t.co/UxLXeTRhE8

A bug in Polkadot XCM. The drain you see is actually a whitehat recovery. Excluding that, there are still around $1.3M real losses.

One year ago the official Polkadot support channel was already made aware of this issue. Just took them one year to confirm. https://t.co/Po6nHQSsPe https://t.co/FKNkqn7Yiq

A JAM implementer has opened 4 new proposals that would overturn the previously passed Polkadot referendum 1926. Referendum 1926 passed with close to 100% Aye. It mandates: * 100% revenue from JAMKB (sales, leases, rentals) burned automatically, with no treasury build-up. * No footprint as a grant, gift or below-market loan. * Every footprint allocation, to anyone, for any purpose, paid at market price. It was DOT holders' reaction to JAMKB -- DOT holders funded JAM, so JAM’s scarcest resource should pay them back through burns. Referendum 1926 was just 3 months old, and its foundation is already loosening.

6 years after Ethereum's launch, the network was already usably decentralized. 6 years after Polkadot's launch... one entity still effectively controls the whole network. I think that's probably the main thing why investors price it so low. Not TPS or app.

I actually want to applaud W3F for their decision to reject the $3.5M Polkadot Fellowship proposal. But then what happened among the Fellowship members is pure hypocrisy. The proposer personally has his last salary claimed on Aug 24. And 9 days later he "realized", after W3F posted their decision to reject.

SpaceJam didn't pass the Polkadot JAM M1 interview this time. On the topic of AI-written, you're guilty until proven innocent. https://t.co/hWWfyZioCz

At this moment I'm actually unsure which one is worse: 1. Not fully reviewing one's dependency code. 2. Not fully reviewing one's AI-generated code.

Just writing a small simple Rust program (actually temporary script), and cargo happily loaded 378 crates. I honestly think there's something seriously wrong about this.
