We Tested 1,000 Order Blocks. Here’s When They Work. We backtested 1,000 Bitcoin order blocks across five years. The results reveal which conditions actually make them profitable. Backtest results: - Standard order blocks: 31% win rate, -$14,000. - Trading with the trend: 31%, no improvement. - Strong displacement: 39%, marginally profitable. - Fair Value Gap confirmation: 40%, +$2,000. - Liquidity sweep: 49%, the strongest performance. Backtest parameters: - 4H timeframe. - 2:1 Risk/Reward. - $100 risk per trade. - Trading fees included. The takeaway: not all order blocks are equal. Liquidity sweeps delivered the strongest results, outperforming traditional order block setups.

The 3 rules that tell a DCA bot when to buy. A well designed DCA strategy needs more than just a buy signal. It needs clear entry conditions to identify potential opportunities. Here are three technical rules to consider: RSI (14) below 30: Identifies potentially oversold market conditions. Price closing above the 200 period SMA: Keeps the strategy focused on pullbacks within a broader long term uptrend. Price crossing above the 20 period SMA: Provides confirmation that the price is starting to recover rather than continuing its downward move. When combined, these three conditions help identify oversold pullbacks within a broader bullish trend, with early signs of price recovery. The goal is simple: combine momentum, trend direction, and recovery confirmation to make DCA bot entries more selective.

The DCA bot setting that can make a difference. One of the most common mistakes traders make is allowing bots to trade markets without checking liquidity first. A simple volume filter can make a big difference. Set a minimum trading volume of 50,000 USDT. The bot continues scanning USDT markets but only enters those that meet the required liquidity threshold. Another useful setting is the cooldown period after a stop loss. By configuring a 24 hour cooldown, the bot avoids immediately re entering the same market, giving the strategy time to identify a new opportunity.

How fast does DCA exposure grow? It depends on one setting: the order multiplier. Same start of $100, 6 orders in total: 1) Flat size (1x): $600 total exposure. 2) Scale 1.5x: about $2,078. 3) Scale 2x: $6,300. Same bot, same market, more than 10x the money at risk from one number. Decide your max exposure first, then pick the multiplier that fits inside it. Which multiplier do you use, and what is your max exposure per bot?

Bitcoin Remains Under Pressure as the Fed Holds Rates Steady Yesterday, the Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged following the latest FOMC meeting. From a technical perspective, $BTC remains within a descending channel on the 4H timeframe, with progressively lower highs keeping the short-term structure bearish. The recent rejection at 84,898 USDT highlights buyers' ongoing struggle to regain control of the market. BTC is currently trading around 80,462 USDT, below the 81,200–81,600 USDT value area, where the Value Area Low and Point of Control converge. As long as the price remains below this zone, selling pressure is likely to persist. On the downside, 79,221 USDT is the key level to watch, near the recent swing low. A confirmed breakdown could open the way toward the weekly S1 support at 77,951 USDT. On the upside, reclaiming the value area would be the first sign of technical improvement, potentially paving the way for a move toward 82,500–83,000 USDT. The Weekly VWAP at 79,836 USDT remains another important reference for assessing short-term price stability.

Before you start a Grid Bot, how do you pick the range? Our checklist: 1) Is the market ranging, or trending hard in one direction? 2) Is there enough volatility for price to move between grid levels? 3) What happens to your position if price leaves the range? What do you use to set your upper and lower limits?

The biggest mistake in DCA trading? Thinking the price will always come back. As new orders execute at lower prices, your average entry drops and your take-profit target moves closer. But if the market keeps falling, your losses can quickly add up. That’s why every DCA strategy needs a stop loss. Here, we set it at -25%, just below the final DCA level at around -23%. If the price breaks through the entire DCA ladder and continues to fall, the position closes automatically to limit further losses. A better entry price doesn’t guarantee a winning trade. Protect your capital before the market moves against you.
