The biggest mistake in DCA trading? Thinking the price will always come back. As new orders execute at lower prices, your average entry drops and your take-profit target moves closer. But if the market keeps falling, your losses can quickly add up. That’s why every DCA strategy needs a stop loss. Here, we set it at -25%, just below the final DCA level at around -23%. If the price breaks through the entire DCA ladder and continues to fall, the position closes automatically to limit further losses. A better entry price doesn’t guarantee a winning trade. Protect your capital before the market moves against you.
