Agricultural cooperatives are facing growing expectations from international buyers and financial institutions. Beyond producing quality crops, they are increasingly expected to provide reliable farm records, demonstrate where their products come from and show how their operations are managed. Having this information properly organized can make a real difference. It helps cooperatives build trust with buyers, meet market requirements, improve transparency and become better positioned for financing opportunities. The challenge is knowing what information matters, how to organize existing records and what buyers and lenders expect before entering into an agreement. To help address these questions, @dimitratech | $DMTR is hosting The Due Diligence Mandate on November 19. This practical online session is designed for agricultural cooperatives, unions and fresh food associations. The discussion will feature Roberto Alonso Vega Alfaro, a Rabobank Foundation representative, and Carlotta Costa, Dimitra’s Director of ESG. Participants will learn what EU buyers look for, how to get existing farm records in order and the important questions to ask buyers and lenders before the next season.
