HERE'S A PROBLEM WITH MEMECOINS THAT DOESN'T GET ENOUGH ATTENTION. The more successful a project becomes, the more expensive it can become to operate. Think about it. A small project might start with a few friends, a good meme, some liquidity, and a social media account. Everyone is volunteering their time. Life is good. Then the project starts gaining traction. Suddenly, expectations change. The community wants better content. More exposure. More partnerships. Exchange listings. Professional market making if the project expands to order-book exchanges. Developers to build new features. And people actually have to PAY for these things. Let's imagine a small team has $10,000 to work with. How much goes toward liquidity? How much toward content? Development? Security? Community management? And how much do you keep in reserve? That $10,000 can disappear surprisingly quickly. And if the project eventually needs professional market making or a serious exchange expansion, the financial requirements can become considerably larger. BUT HERE'S THE REAL PROBLEM. Where does the money come from? If the team depends on selling its own token to fund operations, those sales can create the very pressure that hurts the project. Yet without funding, how does the project continue growing? See the dilemma? This is why I increasingly pay attention to HOW projects fund themselves. Trading fees, sustainable treasuries, transparent budgets, and properly designed economic mechanisms can make a meaningful difference. Because a great meme can create demand. But a sustainable operation needs a way to fund the work. And the longer I'm in these trenches, the more convinced I become of something: THE BEST PROJECTS WON'T JUST BE THE ONES THAT KNOW HOW TO ATTRACT ATTENTION. THEY'LL BE THE ONES THAT FIGURE OUT HOW TO KEEP BUILDING AFTER THE ATTENTION ARRIVES.
