BTC IS DOWN ~3%. BUT LOOK UNDER THE HOOD. This is NOT as cleanly bearish as the candle makes it look. • BTC is testing the $80K–$81K zone • Open interest is DOWN ~3.3% • Funding is barely positive • ~$474M in liquidations • Latest 3 finalized BTC ETF sessions: OVER $1 BILLION in net inflows • 2Y and 10Y yields just dropped HARD That looks a lot more like a LEVERAGE FLUSH than the beginning of some massive short build. But here’s the contradiction: VIX jumped to 19. Nasdaq lost its 50 EMA. Breadth weakened. ETHBTC still looks terrible. So now we have something interesting. Rates are finally starting to give risk assets a tailwind… but risk assets haven’t accepted the invitation yet. IMO, one side of this divergence eventually has to give. If yields stay lower AND VIX starts rolling over while BTC defends $80K–$81K? WATCH OUT. That could be the fuel the next expansion has been waiting for. If $80K breaks and BTC loses ~$78.6K, different conversation. For now? Crypto spring still looks alive. Spring just has storms. 🌱
