Hong Kong is operating as Beijing’s controlled crypto sandbox, and the XRP Ledger is already wired into it. OSL, an SFC-licensed exchange, opened XRP to retail investors in July 2026 after an earlier professional-only listing; deposits and withdrawals settle on the XRP Ledger. Linklogis, a Hong Kong-listed Chinese supply-chain fintech, is using XRPL for trade-finance tokenization. Of 36 stablecoin-issuer applications under Hong Kong’s new regime, only two have been licensed so far. Mainland crypto trading remains banned since 2021. Any broader reopening is still a forecast, not policy. The rails, however, are already inside the test lab. #XRP #XRPL #HongKong #Stablecoins
