$BCH Is Quietly Reclaiming Momentum
$BCH is around 256.48, up 2.54%, after defending 245.49 and climbing steadily toward the 257.64 area.
The interesting part is that this is happening while Bitcoin Cash is entering another development cycle. The May 2026 upgrade added new scripting capabilities, and developers are now discussing faster one-minute blocks for a potential 2027 upgrade.
Supply is also relatively tight: about 20.1M BCH were outstanding by June 2026 against a hard cap of 21M, with the current block reward at 3.125 BCH.
Chart levels:
Support: 253.57, then 245.49
Resistance: 257.64, then 266.09
Trend: short-term recovery with a clear sequence of higher lows.
A clean break above 257.64 would strengthen the continuation setup. Losing 245.49 would weaken the current structure.
The bigger story is that $BCH is combining a relatively mature supply profile with continued protocol development. The market now has to show whether that combination can turn this steady recovery into sustained demand.
The next real test is 257.64.
